lovely little bit of greenery to hide in when overwhelmed in the business and chaos of the city. very relaxing and spiritual vibes. beautiful and inspiring seeing so many cool and edgy youngsters hanging out and having a jolly time. quite a mixed bag in the area, young people, oldies, them loud kids, hippies, sporty people, a lot of barefootness as well..which I have noticed is quite common among the dutch population in the warmer months, you get used to it. little park police officers...

A small park, but very cosy and pleasant. It would be a lovely spot to relax, enjoy some quiet time, or even have a picnic. Unfortunately, during my visit, there were some drug users and a group of loud, drunk men pouring beer into the pond, which really took away from the atmosphere. What made it more frustrating was that, just 10 meters away, there were police officers guarding the entrance to the palace who did nothing about it.
