De Bistrooh — Restaurant in The Hague

I visited this restaurant last night, and it was truly an amazing experience! The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and full of charm. The owner personally helped me choose the dishes, and his selection was absolutely perfect — everything was delicious and beautifully prepared.

What impressed me most was how passionate he was about his work; you could really see that he enjoyed what he was doing, and that made the experience even more special. I didn’t feel like a customer — I felt like a welcomed guest.

The main course, which was duck, was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. Everything was served right on time, and the service was smooth and professional from beginning to end.

Friendly service, good food, fair prizes, the Hague, rarely do these words go together. All the reviews here are true. Affordable, high quality, friendly service to top it off. The other restaurants of the Hague should be ashamed, especially the ones around the square (de Plein) ripping people off with mediocre food while underpaying their staff, which no wonder aren't always friendly. I am sorry but the picture will not do this restaurant justice in that the food, the atmosphere and the service were the best I have ever experienced. We were late in arriving and they never batted an eye to assist us and never rushed us or made us feel unwelcomed. Even allowing us to take a goodie bag of desserts out with us because we were so full. You really need to try this place if you are in the area.
