Playa La Pampilla is one of the top surfing beaches in Lima, especially for beginners and intermediate surfers. The waves are more manageable compared to Punta Roquitas, and there are plenty of surf schools and board rentals available right at the shore. The surf community here is friendly, and you’ll often see people taking lessons or practicing in groups.
The beach itself is rocky, not sandy, so it’s not the best for lounging or swimming. Still, the energy from the surfers and the beautiful views of the Pacific make it worth a visit.
