Malecón de Miraflores — Attraction in Lima Metropolitan Area

It’s Lima’s most popular seaside pedestrian park system. It’s about a 6-mile stretch of paved walkway and bicycle lanes along the cliffs on the Pacific coast of Miraflores Borough.

It runs from the Parque de la Marina in the North ending at the Salazar Park and the Larcomar commercial complex.

• In between are a series of parks, built on theme. The best ones are: Salazar Park, Parque Amor, Itszhak Rabin Park, Maria Reisch, and Parque El Libro.😎😎😎

Sunset is the most magical, from any point of the Malecon.

It’s a flat easy walk, great exercise with great sea views and nice designed parks, one of which is Pet or Kennel Park intend for pets to run free off their leashes.

It is best explored early in the morning or later in the afternoon into the evening, when there’s a coolish breeze from the ocean and cooler...

It’s a nice walk with beautiful views of the Pacific ocean. Path is paved and easy to walk on, seems accessible even by wheelchair. There were many families with young kids and couples walking and just relaxing. Best time to walk is right around sunset. We started around the malecon marker on google map around 5:30pm and walked towards Larcomar. We saw folks paragliding in the sunset which looked beautiful. Also nice to be at the resto around...

The Malecón is a scenic, multi-section coastal pathway that runs along the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Miraflores.
