I got to qp Hotel after a 16+hour 3 Flight Marathon from YVR Vancouver BC to Houston IAH to Miami Florida a real dicey landing Wednesday Evening October 9 while Hurricane Milton was swirling a North East Path across Florida.I then got an Early Morning Red Eye Flight on LATAM Airlines from Miami down to Lima on Thursday October 10 2024.My Airport Transfer that I had arranged online was a no show on Thursday October 10.I had to then get a Taxi from The Airport to the Hotel from The Airport.I later find out that this was the first day of a 3 Day General Transport Strike in Lima.So I got to The Hotel at just after 7AM on that Thursday I wanted to check in because I was tired I don't think they understood that I had travelled over 8000+ Kilometers to get there. So after hanging around i got The Staff to store my Luggage I changed from Jeans into shorts went around &checked out The general Area got some Lunch and eventually was given Room 712 on The Seventh Floor. This kind of bugged me because on The last day Saturday October 19 I checked out very early & was picked up by a Cab at 6:30 AM to take me to The Airport for my Morning Flight from Lima up to Cancun. In other type Hotels including All Inclusive & Business type Hotel they've let me check in when I got there so I think this should've been a Trade off.Anyhow I was in a Smaller Size Room I think it was around 200+ Square feet that wasn't that soundproofed you could clearly hear noise above & beside you especially in The Washroom which didn't have a fan to get rid of the Steam in The Shower. There was a decent size Smart TV with YouTube & Netflix which you could change to English if you had YouTube/Google App plus a Small Clock/ Alarm & a work table+chair & lamp. This Hotel i think is primarily a Business Hotel that some Backpackers.I ran across some Middle Age German Back Packers there seem to use for brief stays overnight or 2 days while they're traveling around Peru.M y overall impression of The Hotel it's neat & tidy in a Central Location in Miraflores close to lots of Restaurants & Shops.I have stayed in similar types of Hotels like this in the past in Mexico which even though I prefer bigger All Inclusive Resorts serve a purpose.I think the other Traveler didn't get that this isn't meant to be a Fancy Hotel but a functional one it does in my opinion serve that purpose well. The Staff there are all friendly & helpful there's only one person on The Front Desk that speaks English. That said they had there Spanish to English Translator App & I used my English to Spanish App on my phone so we communicated easily & quickly most of the time. They also give a Free Breakfast in The Morning all The Staff there,Cooks etc work hard in a Small Restaurant Area to keep all The Guests happy & filled with a Breakfast, Scrambled Eggs,Toast,Coffee,Juices,Cereal,Fruits etc so yes they were upbeat, happy & good at their Job.There's a Gym Fitness Centre on The 10th Floor that I didn't check out & a Swimming Pool that's outside in The open next to The Breakfast Area that's unheated & is more like a Paddle Pool than a Swimming Pool it's not deep you can walk around in it.So yes I would recommend this Hotel if you want a Higher End Hotel you will pay a lot more money. For what I paid on The Expedia Package for The Hotel & Flights just over $1500 Canadian Dollars🇨🇦 I felt I got a good Deal. One thing that isn't The Hotel fault is that my LATAM Flight was about 50+ Minutes late in leaving Lima for Cancun Mexico Saturday Morning it almost left at Lunchtime down there. At Cancun i barely managed to get from Terminal 2 over to Terminal 4 to recheck in my Suitcase with WestJet & had about 30 Minutes to get to my Gate before they started boarding at 7:05 PM Saturday Evening October 19 2024.This is the second time in less than I year that I've experienced big problems at a Mexican Airport last time Puerto Vallarta Airport November 2023.Here's my advice if there's a few Flight arriving simultaneously have more Customs officials working to handle the overflow there was no extra Airport Staff to offer guidance & information on where to go.I think LATAM,Cancun Airport,WestJet & Customs Mexico maybe need to be on the same page as each other this isn't good enough at any Airport any where in Mexico.I am still not happy about what took place at Cancun Airport on Saturday Evening October 19...

Location is great and the bed is confortable. That's it for the good stuff. Staff is clearly unprepared. We waited for over 15 minutes for them to bring our bagage to our room (as they said they'd do) and had to go to reception again, since no one answered, to find our bags there and the person responsible for it doing nothing. The bathroom has a window that doesn't open and no ventilation system. The result was that our bedroom looked like a sauna. There was so much steam the floors and walls were wet. Breakfast was complete chaos. The buffet part of the salon is tiny, there's no hot milk available, wich forms a huge line for the microwave. Anything fresh that should be available wasn't: cheese, ham, eggs, yogurt, fruits. Clean plates are a lot to ask too... it was very unpleasant having to wait for absolutely everything. Plus, there's no sweet options, simple cakes or anything and they charge extra for the most basic things as pancakes with honey, omelettes and papaya juice (I could almost understand it, if there were a lot of other options already included in the menu). To sum up, a terrible experience for the 4 stars they...

No way this is 4 Stars- This is the worst bed we've ever slept on. It feels like a pullout mattress from a couch. There's even a high bar. The mattress is so thin!! My husband's feet are hanging off the end of the bed & he's 5ft 10in! We're supposed to be up early; it's 12 midnight & we can't sleep! We pre-paid and reserved a Superior suite, qp Hotels claims they only have a reservation for a normal room with a queen bed (THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT A QUEEN BED!) and did not have any requests for a Superior room. Yet will not return the difference in price, even though I showed them 2 confirmations and the voucher showing what we paid for months ago. We've been traveling and hiking for 20 days for our 25th anniversary and this was our last stay with a Jacuzzi tub, King bed, to finally relax before flying home. It's a true disappointment. AGAIN, this is the worst bed we've ever slept on. It feels like a pullout mattress from a couch. There's even a high bar. The mattress is so thin!! My husband's feet are hanging off the end of the bed & he's 5ft 10in! We're supposed to be up early; it's 12 midnight & we...

Abraços do Brasil!

Beautiful modern style hotel, clean room, and bathroom. Staff was helpful and friendly, spoke a little English. Breakfast has a wide variety of selections. The hotel has a small parking lot at the front of the building where we always had space for the rental car. The hotel has 24-hour security, which makes you feel safe. I would definitely recommend it!
