Went here for a complimentary massage for 2 and the massage wasn’t relaxing at all. I had to lie on my face and it was very uncomfortable. The massage therapist didn’t ask what pressure I wanted and she just started. I’m a small lady and her pressure was very hard to the point that I am starting to feel brusining on my back. She was rough with moving my head around and stretching as well. They had locker rooms and a shower room but there was no privacy at all. Two workers were sitting there while we were changing in the locker room. The massage room also doesn’t have any privacy since there is a big transparent glass by the door of each room. I couldn’t relax properly since the room was too bright. Near the end of my massage, the lady went out for more than 5 mins without telling me andeft the door open. When she came back she still did not close the door. They also did not have a selection for scented oils, just unscented. Nuat thai and thai boran are still the best places to get massages for similar prices and...
Read moreThis is one of the better gyms in Cebu. It’s large and well equipped. This place is more of a health club then a gym. It has a large pool, spa, and restaurant. I only used the gym though and was very happy. It’s priced on the higher side so the clientele is slightly better. Other gyms are much cheaper but you get a lot of idiots in there to deal with. It’s an air conditioned space but the problem is that they don’t have a good exhaust system to pull out all the sweat and humidity caused by people working out. It reminds me of my high school gym during football practice when we would use it to build strength. It has a very strong smell of body odor. I didn’t mind it as much and made sure I brought my spray bottle of alcohol to spray stuff down first. I don’t mind the smell but my gf constantly complained about it. I think her nose smells better than mine. Still, it’s about the best you can get in Cebu and there’s...
Read moreThis review is solely for their gym since I haven’t tried their hotel/spa services yet. I’ve been a gym member here for a couple of months now. I really enjoy their hourly classes - yoga with Ms Joy, indoor cycling with coaches Rowena, Louie and Mike, metafit with coach Romel, barre with Ms V and Ms Lita, zumba with coaches Michael and Jomer. Boxing, I won’t really recommend. It’s not that intense. If it’s just boxing you are interested in, might as well go to ALA BTC. Holiday also has a pool open to their guests and members, but I haven’t tried swimming there yet. 😂 Upstairs they have a jogging track, too.
Gym hours: 6am to 9pm, Mondays thru Saturdays, no gym on Sundays
I pay 1600php/mo (discounted because they are affiliated with...
