I have mixed feelings about this place both good and not so good. The place- really nice ambiance. It's warm, cozy and visually delightful. No problem there. Food- Italian (Yes, Ofcourse! Lol!) The spare ribs was salty, parat gyud. I tasted it from my friends plate and I thanked God I did not order it. However, the Lasagna and the mozarella cheese sticks were great! I also ordered aglio olio and i was disappointed since it looked like spaghetti noodles drowned in oil. Color? Minced green basil(?) Maybe they have their way of doing aglio olio? Service- at first, they were great, until they were not. They keep on forgetting orders (or maybe it was just our table that they keep on forgetting). We were early before other customers came in so my order for aglio olio should be served along with my companion's orders. They were all done with their food before mine came. My companions patiently watched me eat my aglio olio(?) I ordered for a third mozarella sticks before my aglio which didnt come but we were billed with it. They forgot all about it. š¤ Overall, I give it a 3 stars more like average. Should I recommend the restaurant? Ofcourse! To each his own and I cannot judge them through the palate and experience of others....
Ā Ā Ā Read morecame for dinner with family and friends at 6:30PM. As I entered the restaurant I noticed the relaxed āfeel at homeā ambiance. All seven of us were seated in an upstairs private dining room. For starters we were served prosciutto and cheese platter, the foccasia bread basket, complemented with red wine. That whet my appetite. Our main course consisted of two kinds of pasta, Italian style spaghetti (which I prefer over Filipino style), and ricatonni mushroom, of which I took a second serving. Then came their cheese loaded eggplant parmigiana which I really enjoyed. For protein during the main course, we had the braised beef in rich thick sauce, the osso buco which brought out the Filipino in me, an that means I wanted rice go with it, nevermind the carb overload from the two pasta dishes already. It was a truly pleasant dining experience with family and friends, we stayed until closing time. We had one very attentive, very helpful and efficient waitress to male this a very pleasant dining experience, so enjoyable I forgot to take a lot of pictures for this review. I am used to high end Italian restaurants in the US, and this one does not pale...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI tried this restaurant. We ate a bruschetta, a margherita, and spaghetti with clams. we paid around 1200 drinking water.
the quality and preparation of the food seemed improvised to me, the spaghetti was adorned with 5 clams and perhaps 5 parsley leaves, the taste was reminiscent of spaghetti with clams but both the appearance and the general satisfaction were just sufficient, in any case not from restaurant.
now I would like to make a comment on the pizza: scandalous, the worst pizza eaten in Cebu, I wonder how it is possible to offer such a poor product while having the possibility of creating a decent one.
third course bruschetta: also sufficient, let's say they interpret the recipes but in this case they didn't upset too much.
service: young but very kind and thoughtful guys, the table is presented without any tablecloth or cloth or paper placemats, the environment is still clean and the open kitchen is a fairly professional kitchen so I would expect preparations more suited to it.
I don't recommend visiting in the short term, I hope that over time a solution can be found to...
