If you find yourself in Cebu and searching for a truly delightful breakfast experience, you absolutely must check out this restaurant. From the moment you step in, there's just a wonderful, inviting atmosphere that sets the perfect tone for your morning. It feels welcoming and comfortable, a truly pleasant place to start your day. And the food? It delivers a pretty good meal every time. I actually ate here twice in one day, which tells you how much I enjoyed it. The first time, I just stopped in on a whim to try it out. The second time was on a Sunday, out of sheer necessity, as it quickly became apparent that this was seemingly the only game in town. I hadn't realized the whole city of Cebu essentially shuts down on Sunday. I mean, I knew there was a strong influence from the church, but I genuinely didn't expect it to bring the entire place to a halt! As a matter of fact, if you need to travel anywhere in Cebu, Sunday morning is, surprisingly, an awesome time to go cruising up and down the street – the roads are gloriously empty. Now, I did have one experience that was a little off-putting, though it might just be a cultural difference. I ordered an apple juice, and to my pleasant surprise, it was freshly squeezed. At another table, a gentleman had ordered pineapple juice. Somehow, our drinks got mixed up. They took them downstairs to rectify the situation, and when they brought them back, mine still had a straw in it. I had assumed they'd simply put the straw in there, so I took a drink. The moment I did, the guy who served me panicked, quickly took the straw out of my drink, and put a new one in. My immediate thought was, "They just gave me the drink he had been drinking off of." Perhaps it's perfectly acceptable there, but here in the States, that just wouldn't happen; it's a definite health and hygiene faux pas. I thought, maybe it's just part of the local culture, or perhaps a lapse in training. I honestly don't know. I just drank it anyway; I'd already taken a sip. Here's the kicker: I ended up with strep throat four days later. I can't definitively say it's related, but my gut feeling is leaning towards "yeah." I'm not going to directly blame the place, as I don't know if there was something else I missed, but the timing was certainly… suspicious. Putting the straw incident aside, that fresh-squeezed apple juice was absolutely freaking good. I mean, it was genuinely fresh-squeezed apple juice, and I want to say it was around 350 pesos. I probably got like five or six apples worth of juice in that glass. I'm 100% sure it was fresh-squeezed, and it tasted great. Unfortunately, I didn't get to taste the pineapple juice that was initially intended for the other table, though I wish I had! As for the price, for a place in Cebu, this might be a little on the pricier side. You're probably looking at around a thousand pesos per diner if you're getting drinks and a full meal. I guess you could go without the fresh juices and just stick to water, which would probably bring the cost down to around 600 to 800 pesos per person. Overall, despite the one odd drink mix-up, my experiences at this restaurant were largely very positive, especially for breakfast. It's a charming spot with good food, and certainly a reliable option when much of Cebu is taking its Sunday siesta.
Also, although I didn't personally sample, the croissants appear to be "legit" other members of my party ordered the croissants and had nothing but good things to say about them. So whoever's making those learn how to make them right if they had offered it such as a nice croissant with some of those ingredients on it. Perhaps some fresh grilled ham I probably would have had that. I know that's not really a French thing to do with croissants, but I do like it that way. This is a really nice place that you could bring a large group to of say eight or nine people easily and it's also a nice little intimate place where you could come with one person or or with a date. It's not really the kind of place that I would take my...

We found this place by coincidence when looking for somewhere to have breakfast or brunch
The menu is very varied and you have from salad to the burgers and special plates. Suitable for vegan and vegetarian too! The fruit juices are natural and fresh and so are the ingredients they use for the meals too.
The service is also perfect. The waiters are always smiley and willing to help and they are very quick at serving you. The seating area is very comfortable (we sat in the sofas in the corner) and we enjoyed a very nice breakfast! So much That I think we are going to come back for the rest of the week while we are on holiday in Cebu!
It has a parking outside where you can leave your car or motorbike for free, so very convenient if you drive too.
The quantities are very generous but I have to say is also a bit pricey for average prices in Philippines (still not expensive for westerners but we paid 1.200 pesos for two people having had a very generous breakfast sr).
It was definitely worthed and we highly recommend it if you...
Read moreOrdered egg whites, hash browns, and pancakes. Have to say, it was delicious. The wait staff was pretty decent no snarkiness, fairly patient. I made a special order of pineapple with oat milk. They did not have agave honey but it came out great and was happy they were willing to provide a customized order for me. Making things better, they were playing Unknown Mortal Orchestra -- Unnecessary Evil, which is one of my top bands. Learned the owner is a foreigner which explains the musical choice which is not common to the space. Would say, they can improve with more sensible portion control and to improve the decor. The black colors and the abstract art does not lend well to the space and is a little dated. Might improve seating arrangement so it present less like a cafeteria and more like a indie lounge. There should be size options for the pancakes because the amount they served for me might have fed two adults and a child. Overall, above...
