Sugbo Mercado, nestled in the heart of IT Park Cebu City, is a bustling open-air food court that offers an array of culinary delights. During my recent visit, I was immediately drawn to the vibrant atmosphere, with the lively sounds of live music echoing throughout the space. The variety of food choices at Sugbo Mercado is truly impressive. From local favorites to international cuisines, there's something to satisfy every palate. Whether you're craving savory street food, mouthwatering barbecue, or indulgent desserts, you'll find it all here. Plus, the availability of alcoholic beverages adds to the festive ambiance, making it a perfect spot to unwind after a long day. One of the highlights of Sugbo Mercado is its vibrant and energetic vibe. The place was teeming with activity, with locals and visitors alike mingling and enjoying the lively atmosphere. It's clear that this food court has become a popular gathering spot for workers in IT Park, as well as residents and tourists looking to experience the local food scene. Despite the bustling crowd, the service at Sugbo Mercado was efficient and friendly. The vendors were accommodating and eager to share their culinary creations with patrons. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite to eat or settling in for a leisurely meal with friends, you'll feel right at home in this vibrant foodie haven. Overall, my experience at Sugbo Mercado was nothing short of fantastic. With its wide variety of food choices, lively atmosphere, and friendly service, it's no wonder this food court is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. If you're in Cebu City, be sure to make a stop at Sugbo Mercado for a memorable culinary experience!

love the foods here! a must go place! the bbq store with the bone marrow add ons were the best - tried their blood pork back ribs, no where bloody and well cooked! add 80 peso for bone marrows. served on hotplate and accepts bigger bills as the business is good. must must try!! 👍👍 garlic oysters were fresh but small pepper premium beef with calamari and prawns - prawns were great but calamari are soso tempura scallop and prawn - batter is not very nice but sold per gram so was very cheap. 1 gram is 1 peso and had lobsters too mango smoothie with mango ice cream - quite pricy but very mango sweet lechon store that sells lechon with kimchi - not very salty, meat is tender and all the locals bought lechon from this store. cheaper than other stores and portions are generous fruit juice store - tried buko shake and very fresh. saw many others buying drinks from this store. offers various size for your preference hibiscus and cranberry tea - located within the shelter area and drink was refreshing it rained during my visit so everyone hurdled within the shelter area once downpour began haha there’s a thrift shop going on at the non-food area now. ranges from selected thrifts to dig your own thrift and small creator businesses that sells stickers and accessories. priced at 40 pesos (stickers) to 350 pesos (selected thrifts). just that thrift shop area was muddy overall despite eating so much spent less than 1400 pesos for 2 pax. each dish is at 200 to 300 peso range. many locals and tourists. their prices are stated on their menu for 95% of the shops so no bargains are required.

See elow for individual reviews . Five stars for the area itself. Offers a large amount of different foods in a small area. The seating can be a problem as so many reviews state but they can't really fit anymore seats within the walls. Individual food stalls: Dubbys: 5/5 stars I tried the double bacon cheeseburger. It was good. So far the closest thing taste wise to getting a burger in the USA that I've tried. The chef is also deaf and it was nice reading the little information and education they provide with the burger. Learning to sign "Delicious burger thank you" wasn't too hard. Mr. Bones: 4/5 stars I tried the tuna steak, prime rib and pork belly. All of them were good. The steak was decently tender and while not very thick, was still an ok size. We were told our food would take 25 minutes and ended up taking 45 minutes. Macology 101: 5/5 stars I tried the classic lemonade and it was good. Not overly sweet but still sweet enough. Their straws don't reach the bottom of their pouch, but I guess it isn't a big deal. Taco Truck: 4/5 stars I tried the sampler for 399p which had one of each taco. The quinoa taco was good if you don't want meat. They were all decent to good but if they made their own tortillas it would have been better. Carne asada was my favorite, and pork carnitas was my least favorite. A lot of liquid came out after the bite but it still seemed a bit dry.

This is the best outdoor food park I've been to in the Philippines. There is a good variety of foods, drinks, and desserts. Clean as you go. I would recommend and will return every trip to Cebu City.

THE REVIEW: SERVICE: Its food booth style and clean as you go. I think being in IT Park, they are so used to seeing foreigners, that a lot of the vendors will treat you like they treat a Filipino. Some may be turned off by that. (ie 4 people leaning, on devices, and no sense of urgency or customer accommodation). Some places are better than others. I will call out two of the better: Tipsy Bar Cocktails and the Cajun Seafood place by the entrance. CLEANLINESS: For an outdoor food court, it was very clean and the areas to dispose of your dishes/waste were readily available. They were good workers and friendly too. We tipped them, but don't think many do. COMFORT: Typical outdoor food park seating. Not overcrowded. Tent/canopy covered dining areas to protect from direct sunlight FOOD QUALITY: The quality was generally good, many spectacular and others not so much. PRICE/VALUE: The Cajun seafood place was a great value for green shells, crab, corn, scallop and watermelon with rice and drink. Wife said it was tasty. Tipsy bar has typical Pinoy cocktails. Avail of the 2 for 1 HH and double shot add on. We got the amaretto sour for 120 each with dbl shot. Don Macchiatto's is a chain coffee booth and is a steal at 39P for an iced caramel macchiatto. There is a place near the NW corner with lots of grilled meats--to die for. I had the chicken leg quarter meal. Perfection. (Not inasal, but great grilled chicken). It is like 2 or 3 stalls from a place in the corner that looks like they deep fry every meat. I do not recommend that one. Fresh but funky un-Filipino tasting meat marinade. You can tell the proper grilled place by looking at their samples. No...
