Even the Baluarte de San Andres have its own beauty for tourist to show off. These outstanding wall are some the relics of spaniards colonialisim period thats still amazes most of the tourist. Since then, I realized how intricate these walls been made during the times. Like most of outgoers there, I would like to experience whats on the top of the walls. Reconstructed in 1733 with the addition of a bombproof arsenal for gunpowder, a watchtower and soldiers’ barracks. Also called Baluarte de San Nicolas or Carranza. Destroyed during the British siege of Manila in 1762. Rebuilt and modified after the British occupation. Damaged during the Battle of Manila in 1945. Restored in 1987....
