We originally booked this hotel months in advance on our 3 week trip to the PI. when we arrived at this hotel on our first leg of the trip a little after 1200 (noon) they said we would have to pay "early check in fee" since check in isn't until 1400 (2pm). Okay we were fine with that even though our room was already cleaned and ready. They wrote my credit card information on a peice of scrap paper and stated they're credit card machine wasn't working at the moment and they would charge it later. Well wouldn't you know on the last night they call to tell us we owe them cash for the early check in. Surprise, surprise they're credit card machine is not working again but for the last 4 days I watched "X" amount of people checking in paying with credit cards. They had no intentions on charging my card, if your being cheap to save a buck because you do not want to pay the credit card fee just be honest about it we would have understood and we would have been completely okay with it. It's very suspect when they call at 2100 (9pm) stating they are coming up right away to collect the money without even offering me a reciept or the paper my credit card information was written on. I had to go down to the lobby and demand a receipt and the scrap paper my credit card information was written on. I wouldn't be surprised if fraudulent charges appear on that credit card in the near future. As a traveler I would stay clear of this place, it reeks of dishonesty. Not to mention there was dried blood on the comforter downward facing the sheets, we would have never noticed if we didn't pull the comforter back while it was still light to relax a little after 20 plus hours of flying I immediately notified the front desk right away honestly the dried blood was larger than a half dollar, house keeping came up right away and changed out the bedding. The first time they cleaned our room we came back and had no toilet paper. I notified the front desk my wife and I went back out to explore the town and several hours later when we returned again there was no toilet paper. The curtains don't close properly, I suspect the string sagging down is part of the track system to open/close the curtains. Throughout the night at various hours you can hear alarm bells ringing outside as if a emergency exit door is constantly being opened. The bed shakes as big trucks drive by all throughout the night, feels kind of like your on a cruise ship and that's on the 4th floor superior garden view. The free internet did not work anywhere in the hotel including the lobby on either my Samsung or my wife's Iphone. I will be sure to have them inspect the room before we leave just incase there is anymore shady business going on. I don't trust the male employee working the front desk. At no time was there ever anything written down stating they were charging us the early check in fee not until I demanded a receipt. which leads me to believe someone was trying to just pocket some cash from an...
Read moreI stayed here for work this past week, as the location is convenient. I will say that the lobby and front dining area are lovely and well maintained. The service is also friendly. However, I found the room disappointing. I was first assigned a room with 2 twin beds, even though I requested one full bed. The receptionist was nice enough to accomodate me and change me to a larger bed. The rooms have a bit of a disinfectant smell. The windows in both rooms I saw faced a wall and were dirty. More troubling, the walls of the hotel room were dirty and smudged. They should be cleaned or touched up with paint more regularly. The smudges give the impression that you're in a hotel where children have been allowed to jump around and kick the walls. So it was disappointing to not only not have a view of the park, but also have no view at all. The bathrooms are quite nice and get good natural light somehow. I had difficulties connecting to the wifi in my room (no automatic connection.) The breakfast was disappointing. Not because there's no buffet option, but because there are only 4 meal options, 3 of which are Filipino and thus meat-centric. The continental breakfast is just a plate of apple, orange, and watermelon with a slice of cold bread. I was also given a mini jam jar which was almost empty and clearly had already been used by another guest. Unacceptable from a hygiene level, to say the least. I wouldn't stay at the hotel again. The price was okay for what it was, but considering the lobby was the only truly nice part of the hotel, it's not...
Read moreWe had our dinner once here. Order a few viands, beef salpicao, pork sisig, and calamares.
Food serving: Reasonable for a fine dining experience. Food was served warm. Portion was resonable as well. Presentation was neat, simple, and appetizing, no extravagance done to it.
Taste: Salpicao Meat was tender that you'd want not to stop eating it. The wine used as marinade and to tenderize the meat was just exact as well as its seasoning. Maybe just a bit more garlic astonish my taste buds to suffice our cravings for this salpicao. This dish focused on its taste mainly and not in its ingredients. recommended dish
Sisig Thre pork was kinda challenging as it wasn't crispy or tender just like other restos who serve sisig. egg wasn't over cooked. Was not too spicy, just the right balance of soy when it was cooked. no extenders like mayonnaise, in other words, just like their salpicao, focused on its taste. recommended dish
Calamares Disappointing. Squid was one of those frozen packed squids from the grocery. Dip was not appetizing as it was just an ordinary mayonnaise.
Service Excellent customer service. Just what I am looking for, service...
