BlueWater De Santorini — Hotel in Puerto Galera

Hello, Good day to everybody. I am Andrew from Laguna and I love to travel. Since this is my first time to travel with my best buddy, we try the Puerto Galera Tour. I used to be an emcee of a birthday parties and that is part of my job also... I received an accomodation for 3days and 2 nights at Blue Water Lodge coming from my boss beacuse I hosted the Birthday Party of her niece. I was so very happy when I received this free accomodation and I am very excited for our trip lasted August 8, 9 and 10 at the White Beach Puerto Galera... At first, I didn't know where can we find the lodge since we need to route Batangas Pier going to Calapan Pier since there is no Boat Accomodation straight from batangas to white beach. so we try to ride on a Supercat Ferry going to Calapan and after dropped off to Calapan Port there's a Van Rental 100php per head going to Puerto Bayan and from Puerto Bayan you can take Tricycle 100php going straight to the Blue Water Lodge. So this is our trip... Now, I am going to discuss what I have experienced with the lodge. Before I visit the lodge I read alot of negative issues about the lodge. they are saying that the Woman (Owner) is "not" trustworthy and some of the places or rooms are not so very clean even the Nipa Hut. BUT a big big BUT. When I enter our room which is good for 4 pax (we're only two) the 2 king size bed is so very beautiful and the aircondition is very good enough for the corner of the room. the c.r is also very clean and the TV (flat screen 32inch) cable can access atleast 30 channels. regarding the Wifi - you need to stay on the lobby area (1st floor) because they are only using a pocket wifi but it is also good sometimes and somtimes is not so fast connection... Now, moving on in dealing with the staff... Oh, I would like to commend all the staff of the Lodge most specially to ate mhads and JR and the 2 remaining boys at the lodge. The staffs are very accomodating they even help us find our boat trip or iterinary going back to calapan pier for only 100php(JEEPNEY DRIVE). So very kind for a person like them... You know, based on what I have read. maybe we have our different experience when it comes to accomodation but for us. IT WAS A VERY GOOD. Kudos to all the staffs and Blue Water Lodge - "Keep up the good work" me and my best buddy will recommend this lodge and hopefully to come back here again if there will be another Puerto Galera Trip. God...

We booked this accommodation thru metrodeals as the bunch of you guys did. When I reserved the place I had a hard time since all their numbers were unattended and no one was picking up or answering my call. So I decided to email them and got a pretty quick response. They said that they don't have rooms for the dates we wanted which tore our hearts to shreds. They asked for my contact number which I gave and received a call a couple of minutes after. They said they do have a room but it's on their huts or "kubo" rooms. So, given no other choice I accepted their offer. Upon arriving there at around 10am we were already allowed to check in which is pretty good since we were really tired from the trip going here. Then came our worst nightmare the hut is so hot. Like literally. Even with the A/C on it wouldn't budge. Working with the inner engineer in me I tried to cover up open spaces and holes around the room for the heat not to go inside anymore but to no avail. So I was pretty bummed given that I really don't like hot rooms. So I immediately went to see the staff to see if we can arrange to be transferred to another room. This is where it gets good, the staff were really nice and thoughtful they even gave us a small industrial fan just to ease the heat from the room. And the guy from the reception said we can transfer tomorrow when the other group checks out. I was really relieved by the news and was really looking forward to transferring. The other staff were really cool and were really friendly. They have wifi coming off from a mobile broadband device (pocket wifi) which was really fast if you stay near it. The next day when we transferred we were really surprised how different the real room was from the kubo room we were really pleased with the new accommodations. If ever I will go back to Puerto Galera I will definitely stay here again but never will I book a...

I saw the promo on MetroDeal so I grabbed it knowing very little about this accommodation in Puerto Galera. Confirming the booking was hassle free because I also used all the information provided in the voucher. So we got in White Beach a little early before the check in time - 2pm. It was just 10am at that time and I explained that we traveled for almost 10 hours as we are from the north. We were told to roam around first and take our brunch as they check if there are guests scheduled to check out early. Luckily, there was an available room that was given to us. We were not expecting a sophisticated room since I know what a lodge is. The room and the bathroom was clean. It doesn't have a heater though.||||True to what was written on MetroDeal Voucher, it's just a minute away from the beach.
