This is more than a museum, it is a place where not only Polish but world history was written. The events of 1980 in this shipyard were the prelude to the unstoppable unraveling of communism in Poland and across Europe. It wasn't a smooth journey, which is why the Gdańsk shipyard is a great place to visit and learn what it took to get to the free Europe of today. I really enjoyed on the free Solidarity Tour led by passionate guides. The history behind this place holds so much, the most important place to the Solidarity movement. I even learned a lot of information about the Polish history and Solidarity movement from Lech Walesa and II World. Nicely narrated in only 2 hours and half. We highly recommend this tour and visit the old Museum where the declaration of rights of the Solidarity movement was signed. This is where the entire history of the Solidarity...

Sala BHP – zabytkowy budynek w Gdańsku na terenie Stoczni Gdańskiej, przy ulicy Ks.  Popiełuszki 6.

Historyczne  miejsce strajku sierpniowego, podpisania porozumień sierpniowych w 1980 roku i powstania Solidarności.

W Sali zapoznać się można z historią Stoczni, produkcją statków, obejrzymy modele statków. Poznamy historię powstania Solidarności, interesujące makiety terenów Stoczni... No i samą historyczną salę..

Klimatu dodają dziesiątki pamiątkowych sztandarów ...

W kwietniu 2017 roku  - Sala BHP została uznana za dobro narodowe. Otrzymała stałą dotację na swoje utrzymanie. Projekt ten obejmuje również Europejskie Centrum Solidarności.

Sala jest czynna codziennie od 10.00- 18.00. Wstęp do Sali BHP jest bezpłatny.

W historycznej Sali BHP Stoczni Gdańskiej miało miejsce 20  kwietnia br.  otwarcie wystawy marynistycznej , zaplanowanej do 20 czerwca 2023 r.

Głównym motywem wystawy jest przekop Mierzei Wiślanej.

W Sali BHP jest wystawionych 12 prac związanych tematycznie, m.in. obrazy Marka Koguta, aktywisty Towarzystwa Miłośników Gdyni.

Wystawa ta jest czasowym uzupełnieniem stałych elementów sali - sztandarów, symboli czasów Solidarności,...

I even learned a lot of information about the Polish history and Solidarity movement from Lech Walesa and II World. Nicely narrated in only 2 hours and half.
