⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Chochla – Tiny place, big flavors!
This little soup spot has only three tables, but don’t let the size fool you — the taste is outstanding. When we arrived, there were just two customers, but within a minute, 12 more walked in. Some stayed to eat, others took their food to go. Clearly, this place is well-loved by locals.
🍲 We had the goulash and chili con carne – both were rich in flavor, packed with meat and vegetables. Portions are generous, satisfying, and change regularly.

Read moreStumbled upon this cozy little soup shop in Gdańsk, and it turned out to be one of the most authentic food experiences of our trip. There was no English menu, which honestly added to the charm. The staff spoke English that she introduced each type of soup to us in detail, making it easy to choose. We went with four different soups in small sizes to try a variety, and every single one had its own unique flavor. The standout for me was the mushroom soup — rich, earthy, and absolutely full of aroma. It was comfort in a bowl. The bread we added was incredibly soft and fresh, the perfect companion to the soups. The shop itself was small but cozy, and warm — just the kind of place you want to find on a chilly day. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a taste of something truly local and made with love.
Let me know if you want to add the shop’s name, the date, or any...
Read moreWe've stopped here for lunch and had two delicious vegan soups: roasted cream of tomato - beautiful rich flavour and pumpkin with caramelised plum - super good actually (and it's coming from someone who's not so keen on pumpkin flavour at all). It had lovely curry / cumin flavours coming through it. There was an optional roll available for purchase in generous size - half a baguette. Fabulous that we could help ourselves to a different toppings - sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, chilli flakes etc free of charge. Great spot for healthy and...
