The room I stayed in was a single room without windows, and there are two shared bathrooms — one with just a shower and one with a bathtub. I used with a bathtub at night, so I didn’t have to wait or share with anyone. Both the room and bathrooms were very clean and well-maintained. The only downside is that the walls are quite thin, so you can hear other guests talking or unlocking their doors. This might bother light sleepers. The bed was very soft and comfortable, and I had a good night’s sleep. I had a chance to speak with the owner, Emilia, on the last day — she was absolutely lovely and a wonderful host❀

For the price (around 140 euros) for two people for 4 nights I though this was very budget friendly, it had a lovely location, and I loved the old house it was located in with the big keys 💕 Of course since you are sharing the space with other people you kind of have to be lucky with which neighbours you get, but for budget this was so worth it :)

Attention, la plupart des studios sont insalubres. Les photos mises en avant sur Google par les propriĂ©taires n'ont rien a voir avec la rĂ©alitĂ©. Il y a 2 entrĂ©es, 161 et 163: l'immeuble du 163 est catastrophique. La porte ne ferme pas. Dans le studio au 1er, la salle de bain est impraticable, extrĂȘmement humide, le plafond complĂštement moisi avec des larges champignons, la ventilation n'est pas fonctionnelle. Je suis arrivĂ© avec des vĂȘtements secs, au bout de 24h ils Ă©taient tous humides avec une odeur de moisi. Idem, pour les serviettes de bain. Les contours des 2 fenĂȘtres sont trempĂ©s et avec des champignons, la peinture tombe en lambeaux. Un seul minuscule radiateur de 30cm pour combattre le froid et l'humiditĂ©, pas du tout adaptĂ© pour un studio de 20m2. Le rideau de douche n'est pas adaptĂ©, la partie diffuseur n'est pas Ă  la taille du pommeau et ne tient pas, d'Ă©normes fuites d'eau qui part dans tous les sens dĂšs qu'on essaie de faire couler l'eau. Une fois le rideau fermĂ©, il reste une surface de 40cm de rayon , une personne normalement constituĂ©e ne peut pas se laver, on est collĂ© par le rideau et Ă©crasĂ© contre le mur... je suis reparti malade au bout de 3 jours en raison de l'insalubritĂ© des lieux. Aucun personnel, ni Ă  l'arrivee, ni au dĂ©part pour faire une rĂ©clamation. J'ai des photos attestant mes propos et l'Ă©tat des lieux. Aucune rĂ©ponse en aprĂšs vente aprĂšs plusieurs messages et plaintes, 3 semaines aprĂšs. Le service aprĂšs vente de Booking fait lui aussi le mort aprĂšs avoir reçu les photos Ă©difiantes de l'Ă©tat du studio. Je m'apprĂȘte Ă  saisir les instances juridiques pour que cet Ă©tablissement soit fermĂ© jusqu'Ă  ce que des travaux soient effectuĂ©s, il est inacceptable de louer des studios aussi insalubres et humides. A ÉVITER IMPÉRATIVEMENT ! Ne vous faites pas avoir par le prix bas !

We stayed here for a couple of weeks while we were visiting Lisbon for the first time. Meeting Emilia was one of the highlights of our time in Lisbon and we couldn’t wish for anything more! She was always happy to help, share stories of her family and life, and make us laugh.

The guest house was kept very clean by Emilia and her colleague, and they were always available via WhatsApp if necessary.

The kitchen area and bathrooms were great. Washing was available at a reasonable price too. Like most houses in Lisbon, the interior is wooden so there can be some noise but it wasn’t much of an issue for us.

It’s reasonably close to the centre city, so using Bolts and public transport wasn’t an issue.

Can’t recommend it enough! Thanks so much Emilia :) We will definitely stay here again when we come...
