New location, just opened two weeks ago. Had dinner after a boat tour nearby last week and have been waiting to write this review since their google page wasn’t up until recently.

We only stopped by as the exterior looked good, and couldn’t find a google page for it. How bad can it get?

Well it was really bad. This was literally the worst food I’ve ever had in Portugal, and quite literally the worst Asian food I’ve ever tasted in my life. This is essentially Chinese food cooked by Chinese owners masquerading as Japanese food.

The “ramen” was more like yellow Chinese noodles. Cooked in a tasteless broth that was almost certainly store bought. Japanese egg that is really more a boiled egg. Seriously. How do restaurants even screw up ramen?

Moving on to their “milk tea.” It was a pale white color liquid that taste like 95% milk and 5% tea. It’s as if the owners have never tried milk tea before in their lives. Like hello if you’re from China / Asia surely you’ve tasted tons of good milk tea before...

First off I’d like to say we arrived around 9:20 and our nigiri only arrived to our table at 10:23. There were only 2 tables seated including my boyfriend and myself while our food was being made.

The restaurant closes at 11pm and before they even brought us everything we order on the first round they were already asking for the last call orders.

The portions are smaller and most of it was rice, the thinnest strips of sushi on our nigiri. Bringing us the wrong order, and at the last possible moment to stay bringing us most of not all the food expecting us to eat fast.

The price is cheap yes but not worth the wait AT ALL. I’ve never written a review before because I understand the service industry but this was worth...

July 26. 2023 Not sure if it was because we went there at lunch time (which is cheaper that dinner) or it is always like that. Calling this a Japanese Restaurant, every Japanese would commit suicide! Only good to fill your belly on the All-You-Can-Eat...if you do not mind the "Every warm dish fried in the same oil taste" and most of the fish and seaweed having the "harvested from an oil tanker some days ago" taste. Sorry, one of the worst places ever, run by not Japanese. Staying with Portuguese cuisine in Portimão is the best option. Another not by Japanese owned or run want to be Sushi Restaurants to stay...

Finally a ramen place in the Algarve! Staff was very friendly. Tried the miso and seafood ramen, it was good but could use some extra vegetables in it(pakchoi or cabbage would be nice). We also tried the pork donburi which was a nice and heavy bowl with a lot of rice. The milk/bubble tea was really good! Decoration of the restaurant was really nice and gave an authentic ramen shop atmosphere. Price was good, the ramen bowls are well filled so you will not leave hungry. We will be coming back to try the other ramen options and get some more milk teas for sure.

Me pareció poca variedad.
