New location, just opened two weeks ago. Had dinner after a boat tour nearby last week and have been waiting to write this review since their google page wasn’t up until recently.
We only stopped by as the exterior looked good, and couldn’t find a google page for it. How bad can it get?
Well it was really bad. This was literally the worst food I’ve ever had in Portugal, and quite literally the worst Asian food I’ve ever tasted in my life. This is essentially Chinese food cooked by Chinese owners masquerading as Japanese food.
The “ramen” was more like yellow Chinese noodles. Cooked in a tasteless broth that was almost certainly store bought. Japanese egg that is really more a boiled egg. Seriously. How do restaurants even screw up ramen?
Moving on to their “milk tea.” It was a pale white color liquid that taste like 95% milk and 5% tea. It’s as if the owners have never tried milk tea before in their lives. Like hello if you’re from China / Asia surely you’ve tasted tons of good milk tea before...

Calling this a Japanese Restaurant, every Japanese would commit suicide! Only good to fill your belly on the All-You-Can-Eat...if you do not mind the "Every warm dish fried in the same oil taste" and most of the fish and seaweed having the "harvested from an oil tanker some days ago" taste. Sorry, one of the worst places ever, run by not Japanese. Staying with Portuguese cuisine in Portimão is the best option. Another not by Japanese owned or run want to be Sushi Restaurants to stay...
