We stumbled upon this viewpoint on our walk back from dinner to our hotel. Wandering down alleyways, we saw a medium sized gathering of people and it picqued our curiosity, so, of course, we went to investigate. Miradouro da Victoria is a viewpoint area with great sunset views of Porto, the river, Louis l Bridge, monuments and Gaia. It's not a large area, so it can become crowded at peak sunset times. Be mindful walking with open toed shoes, the area is dimly lit and has areas with rubble, rocks and trash present, making it easy to stumble and/or trip. Please be safe! There is a small tree for shade if needed. There was a nice breeze on our visit and a street musician to create a nice ambiance. We left via an alley with a great view of Se Catedral lit up against the blue night sky. I would definitely recommend this viewpoint especially for sunsets if you're in the immediate area.

Best view point in Porto. Might be a hit cleaner. You have an amazing view of the city below and the river in from of you, you can see the bridges and the monuments on the other side of the river. It is not too big so it gets crowded very easily despite not being too touristic. I general I believe it could be kept a bit more clean, both by locals and tourists. Costruction works in front on it ruin a but the view, but its no one fault

A popular viewing point where you can look out over Porto, the Dom Luís bridge, the Port houses and the Douro river. The nearby Clérigos Tower's view is higher up and 360 degrees, and the views from walking around Luis bridge and along the river are also stunning, but this view gives you another perspective and is free. There's often a decent busker here, and this place is busy with tourists and tour groups.

It’s a little square overlooking a wonderful view of Porto. There is a building along one side that is covered in graffiti, which honestly added an artsy vibe to the place. There were also sometimes artists selling their work there, and musicians playing. It’s worth a visit for a lovely view. The stairs below the square are also pretty and will lead you to a lower street.
