This Promenade is really full with visitors (us being part of it of course). But it is a very nice place to be and to walk. So no wonder it's popular. Nice city views across the river Douro, great views of the impressive Ponte Dom Luís I.
Countless restaurants (Taberninha do Manel is really good) and even more Porto tasting rooms straight from the producers. Some big names here, but also smaller producers, which if fun: Discovering new producers you've never heard of. Even though very busy, the atmosphere is a peaceful one here. People are having a good time. And there's a always a spot to take in the views and to take a pic or two. Take the Gaia cable car if you feel like. But be prepared for a long line.

There were stalls and a small market when we paid a visit so I believe there is a farmers market every...
