A sunny Sunday we decided to sit outside to enjoy the view of Porto and to eat.I didn’t expect something special but the food was sooooo delicious!!! We had the "bacalhau a braga" …mmmm so tender and tasty !!! We had a Hamburger like calzone, it was something different for us and we really loved it!!! And the third plate was of course "francesinha" ,it was the best we tried in our 4 days trip in Porto !All plates came with fresh fries !!! Prices were very good as the portions. These plates with one bottle of Douro wine we payed only 43€… special mention to Al the waiter who was very friendly and helpful in everything we asked !!!

Lovely restaurant with outside seating. Serving Portuguese Fayre. I had the Franchesine. A Portuguese sandwich filled with vegetables, covered in cheese and a beer based tomato sauce. It came with french fries. Very tasty. A port and tonic and a chocolate mousse completed the meal. They also offer a hamburger wrapped in pastry. Plus a range of Tapas, meat and fish dishes. Very reasonably priced too.

Pel que fa al menú, no és massa extens i hi ha alguns plats que només els serveixen els divendres i caps de setmana. Com, per exemple, el cas del bacallà a la nata. De fet, ens hi vam endinsar amb la intenció de degustar aquest plat i ja se'ls havia acabat. Q canvi, vam demanar "lascada de bacallà". Una combinació de cigrons, trossos de bacallà en llesques, patates bullides, olives negres i ou dur; tot ben amanit amb oli d'oliva. La combinació era bona i la quantitat abundant. Això sí, el bacallà era l'ingredient en menor quantitat. Hi havia sobretot molts cigrons. Estava ben fet i era gustós. Un plat bo i casolà. Abans, vam demanar una crema de verdures, també ben elaborada, amb bona textura. El servei va ser amable i atent. Pacient en la tria i explicació dels plats! El local estava ple, tot i que des de fora no s'apreciï.

The waiting time for my hamburger was almost 30 minutes even though there were only 4 busy tables. When my order finally arrived, the French fries were salty and soggy. I gave my feedback to the restaurant server, he apologised and replaced it promptly with a new one.

I think it was a very bad idea that I requested for a replacement order because I ended up falling sick and having a bad stomach that night.

This dining experience is by far the worst that I have had in...

If you’re going to thrive post pandemic, get your management sorted. If you can’t get the first order of the day right, and forget to put the main courses into the system and as the manager then blame someone else for your mistake, the owners need to seriously question who they have running front of house.. and when you apologise and don’t even offer a discount for giving you an hour of custom and not deliver, it’s shoddy.. Would never go back, and...
