Decent food, rather average for the price, ceviche was just fish doused in most acidic of lemon juices, no balance, no seasoning - terrible to eat. Prawns in flaked almonds, no seasoning, bland, but at least crunchy, supermarket bought sweet chilli sauce with it takes the prize. My main of octopus, octopus super soft, well cooked, spinach bland, no seasoning with old oil taste. Potatoes just boiled not even tossed in anything or herbed or even salted. But it is the service that I found appalling. Firstly, they brought all 3 dishes we used as starters at once, and then wouldn't let us eat in peace or finish it, haunting us to take the plates away though we were still clearly eating. Then, they dumped mains on the table and again haunted us for the plates. We found it so bizarre. They had time to haunt us for the plates but not to refill our waters, we had to ask on several ocassions, never drank our full bottle. Wine - same story, not refilled had to ask every time. It wouldn't be a problem, I am happy to refill my own, but they carry bottles away so one can't refill when they fail to do it. Then they came and dumped a bill on our table whilst we were still eating dessert and clearly not finished our bottle of wine. I asked what's the rush, apparently they need the table back, at 10:30?! I made normal booking for 19:45, we were on time, at no time was it mentioned that we have time limitation. We felt kicked out, even though we still had our glasses half full with wine in our bottle not done. They didn't even have the decency to offer to take our wine glasses to the bar. We saw the bar was half empty, as were the lounges, and ordered a drink at the bar instead, barman super friendly told us to sit wherever we want. Definitely will not be back, despite the amazing location, fab views (if you are anywhere near the windows), stunning interiors, and beautiful people in them. I have tolld my whole team not to bother with any corporate events there as funnily enough, at the start we told the front of house we are scouting for corporate events locations; how terrible at sales and tone deaf does one have to be to then treat paying customers with a reservation the...

Read moreMy friend and me are total foodies and enjoy going out to good and great restaurants all the time. We love good food, good drinks and especially even greater service. While on holiday in Porto, we decided to go to Enoteca, because the ambiente seemed amazing, food pictures looked good and quality seemed high. What we got was sadly the complete opposite. The girls at the reception were extremely friendly, accommodating and were looking at a lot of details(like the little table for our bags). The ambiente and style of the restaurant is very nice, I can also imagine the nice view from the terrace, but sadly this is were my positive view of this experience ends. We ordered two pizzas, mine was burned to a crisp on the ends and very expensive for the amount and taste we got. My friend also thought her pizza was way over prized. As soon as more patrons arrived, that were known to the restaurant and staff, we were completely overlooked. Business associates, peoole with(apparently) more money, they were always served first and looked after, while we were completely forgotten. We asked for the dessert menu-long wait time. We wanted to order some more drinks-no one served us. Our empty plates were left on the table for a long while, our water glasses weren't refilled, while the seemingly important table behind us got all the attention the whole evening. We expected a lot more quality and taste, but very sadly disappointed. Food was definitely overpriced, but maybe other dishes are better-we'll never know. The table beside us also waited for an extremely long time until they could pay, so I don't know if staff wasn't able to handle the restaurant this evening, or if some people and patrons are just more important than others. We were really excited about Enoteca, we love to dress up and spend a good amount of money, but that night was sadly a disappointment. Whit this experience we would not recommend the restaurant to anyone, BUT always make your own experiences-maybe yours...
