A fantastic, true 5* experience in every aspect! We came over to Doha for my mum's birthday and decided to choose IHG and we were not disappointed. The hospitality of staff is on another level - from doorman to reception to concierge to housekeeping and restaurant staff, everyone was extremely polite, helpful and welcoming. The hotel is beautiful and very, very clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, well equipped with everything needed for a most comfortable stay. Big thanks to our room attendant May, who was keeping everything spotlessly clean, and to the concierge team for their advice on how to get around and what to see - thank you, Titis and the rest of the concierge team! - and reception for their support; the valet and security team were also all fantastic. It's a shame I don't remember everyone's names as they were all excellent! Location-wise, it's good because you're by the beach and in a quieter spot of Doha, but also close to most sights at the same time - e.g. Katara Cultural village is 5-10 min away on foot; the Pearl Island is around a 15-min drive, same as Lusail marina and Souq Waqif. Taxis are cheap, so it's very easy to get around from the hotel. Finally, delicious food at the breakfast restaurant Coral and room service - one of the best biriyanis I've had and super big portions, especially for room service standards. The hotel management should be very proud of their people and how the space is run. We'll be back again, mostly because of these wonderful people, who made us feel like we were at home. 5/5 I would recommend to anyone!

The Intercontinental Doha Beach hotel truly shines, and a large part of that is down to its exceptional staff. From the moment we arrived, Karim at reception made us feel incredibly welcome – his service was top-notch. This high standard continued throughout our stay, with every single member of staff we encountered offering a genuine smile and a warm greeting. Erik, who looked after us during breakfast, was particularly outstanding. As a family, we had a specific need to keep our ice packs frozen, and the room service team were absolutely fantastic in assisting us with this daily and without any delay. This level of attentiveness and willingness to help made a real difference to our stay. We also had the pleasure of interacting with Oumayma in the lounge club, whose service was also excellent. The hotel boasts fantastic facilities. The swimming pool is a real highlight – it's impressively large and thoughtfully designed with different levels, making it perfect for both kids and adults to enjoy. The beach area is equally appealing, beautifully clean and well-maintained. Finally, the breakfast experience was superb. The sheer variety of options available was endless, ensuring there was something to please everyone. Even the small details were noted, such as the high-quality shaving kit provided in the room. Overall, our family stay at the Intercontinental Doha Beach was a truly positive and memorable experience, largely thanks to the wonderful staff and excellent amenities.

I recently stayed at the InterContinental Doha Beach & Spa, and while the hotel itself is beautiful from the stunning beach and well-designed rooms to the excellent food. my experience was completely overshadowed by the unacceptable behavior of one staff member, Sundar. His attitude and approach were shockingly rude and passive-aggressive. I understand that English may not be his first language, but that is no excuse for treating guests with such a lack of respect. Instead of making us feel welcome, he spoke in a condescending tone and gave orders rather than assisting us kindly. This behavior had such a negative impact on our experience that my sister and her husband, who were on their honeymoon and looking forward to creating special memories at the hotel, decided to check out and move to another property. It’s unfortunate that such a beautiful hotel with so much potential was marred by poor service and bad energy. As much as we admired the property itself, we will not return due to this experience. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and invests in training staff to treat guests with respect and warmth. A better attitude from staff members like Sundar could have completely changed our experience for the better.

We spent a week at the InterContinental Beach & Spa in Doha with three of our children, and it was a delightful experience overall. A highlight of our stay was the incredible work of the breakfast team every morning. Special mention to Keesha, the barista, who is absolutely amazing. She can make any coffee you dream of, always with a smile and at record speed. Her ability to handle such a high volume of orders with ease is truly impressive. The service staff were also very helpful and pleasant, with Ali standing out for his warm and welcoming attitude. As for the hotel itself, it's decent but showing its age. While it is clean, the concierge service needs significant improvement—better advice would make a big difference. On a positive note, the housekeeping team was excellent, especially the lady who took care of our rooms (234 and 228)—she was just perfect. During our visit, we explored many wonderful parts of Doha, including Msheireb, Souq Waqif, the Museum of Islamic Art, the National Museum, Lusail, Place Vendôme, World Cup Stadium, Katara, West Bay, Festival City Center, and Qanat Quartier. Doha is a peaceful and beautiful city, filled with art everywhere and fantastic food. We’ll definitely be back!

Whether it was a perfectly brewed coffee in the morning or thoughtful assistance with any request, they went above and beyond to make my experience truly special. The hotel itself is a luxurious oasis with top-notch facilities. The spa was absolutely fantastic—perfect for unwinding and relaxing. My room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with stunning views that added to the overall sense of tranquility. The dining options were also impressive, offering a variety of delicious dishes that catered to every taste. The attention to detail and dedication to quality was evident in every aspect of my stay.
