Our stay at Hilton Katara Hills was nothing short of super. From the moment we arrived, we were met with the warmest welcome, as the staff exuded friendliness and a genuine desire to make our stay exceptional. It was clear that everyone here goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel pampered and happy throughout their visit.

The accommodation itself feels like a luxurious alpine chalet, offering ample space, pristine cleanliness, and a beautifully designed interior. The attention to detail in every room is impressive, and having our own kitchenette made it ideal for relaxed in-house dining. We also enjoyed delicious meals at the Gymkhana Restaurant, a high-quality Indian eatery right next to reception. The flavors were unforgettable, and the convenience of such an amazing dining option was a huge bonus!

The on-site amenities were superb. The pool was perfectly heated, providing the ideal way to unwind, and the proximity to Al Qassar station on the underground made exploring Qatar simple. Whether it was a trip to the city’s shopping centres, iconic attractions, or a peaceful stroll through the park next door, everything felt effortlessly accessible. The picturesque walk itself is a beautiful oasis, leading you right to Avenue 21 Shopping Area and the beach, adding a touch of magic to our stay.

Beautiful property with terrible service, sadly. The staff could not be bothered to help with anything.

Upon arrival, they handed me a keycard and sent me off without explaining anything about the property, amenities, room (which was amazing, but pretty confusing to figure out), or benefits as a Hilton diamond member…

Upon checkout, the staff was insisting on charging me for the room despite the fact that I had redeemed a Hilton Free Night Certificate for the room, and incurred no cash charges during my one night stay…

He could see that I had redeemed this certificate and could not explain why there was a cash charge, but kept insisting on it without any explanation of what it was for or trying to fix it. It was frustrating, as my driver to the airport was waiting for me, and this worker was not trying to help, causing me to run late.

From the moment of arrival, they seemed genuinely upset to have to assist guests with anything.

The breakfast was amazing (and they allowed us to have it early due to an early morning departure) and the room is gorgeous, but for the outrageous cost of the room I’d expect the staff to be about ten times better.

I chose this resort, as it would be a beautiful and private place to propose while in Qatar. The pictures on the site look amazing. They say each villa has a butler, and based on the cost, I figured customer service would be top notch. After booking my villa, I called and told them of my plans to propose and if they could help me coordinate getting flowers and decorations set up in the villa. I was told no and that I could bring my own small decorations. I was curious to see if others had experienced similar issues and I see many complaints of poor service, unclean rooms, and malfunctioning equipment.

Update: After calling back to coordinate my friends' access to the villa to decorate, I was told that they actually had romance packages and they could decorate the room. So, not sure if the person I spoke to originally was new, but the response from staff has been much more helpful. Will update again afterward.

Update: So after our experience changed my review to 5 stars. After the initial confusion was cleared up with regards to setting up decorations the staff were on point and did an amazing job with setting up the room. They were extremely friendly and helpful.
