InterContinental Doha Residences by IHG — Hotel in Doha

We recently stayed at the Intercontinental Doha Residences, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. What made it exceptional was the outstanding customer service, especially from a staff member named Leon.

Leon went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Even though we hadn’t mentioned anything about it, he surprised my daughter with a beautiful birthday cake, and his attention to detail was truly remarkable. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to making guests feel special, and Leon’s thoughtfulness left a lasting impression on us.

Aside from the incredible service, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Doha Residences. The amenities were top-notch, and the breakfast spread was absolutely delicious. We also loved that the residences were not crowded, offering a peaceful and private environment. The fact that the residences are separate from the hotel added to the exclusivity of our experience. The pool, in my opinion, was even better than the hotel’s, and the privacy on the beach was an added bonus.

This was, without a doubt, the best customer service we've received not only in Doha but everywhere we’ve stayed. We travel frequently and have stayed at many hotels, but the level of care we experienced here surpassed all expectations. The Intercontinental Doha is an amazing facility with stunning views of the inviting torqouise waters of the gulf. But I choose this facility not for the view, well not completely. I selected it because COVID-19 has been devastating to my health and waistline. I wanted a location with a good gym with easy access and a variety of exercise items..

I found that in abundance at the fitness center. 24 hours of ample machinery, equipment, and weights in a stress free environment with a calming view of a paradise reclaimed from the desert.

But what was also appreciated and refreshing was the amazingly friendly, helpful, and professional staff. Always on hand with assistance with anything question, query, and qualm I might think up.

I can not hope to remember all of their names but a few superstars are Ms. Leisl, Ms.Dencil, and Ms. Mareene. The guys, who are also very helpful, were not present when I asked for help and decided to write this but they are equally competent and professional.

I especially want to thank Ms.Nilmini. She witnessed me about to make a possibly painful mistake involving a stretching machine and not only politely stopped me, but showed me the correct way to operate it. Thank you so much for all...

Well situated hotel within walking distance of DECC metro station and the City Centre Mall|Reception at the back of the hotel was beautifully decorated with flowers |Masks still mandatory in hotel public spaces and health app checked on entry |Effie can’t friend reception service as expected for an IHG intercon hotel|Given a suite room on 37th floor . Very spacious with living room , bedroom and huge bathroom tastefully decorated with all the usual facilities |Pool up on 46th . Shielded from the sun by decorative metal lattice screen . Even so , the sun is fierce and the poo, was like a warm Bath . Pool towels provided . A few loungers but space is limited so possibly not practical to have many more |Restaurant for breakfast was large with an extensive range of buffet items satisfying every nationality and religion . A truly world class spread |For us , the rate was very low but this is off season and still with covid restrictions so don’t expect the bargain too.
