I used to love coming to this beach until I had that incident with one their lifeguards. The place is great for swimming, take the sun either on a chair with or without umbrellas, on the sands close to the shore, etc. The lifeguard disturbed my so relaxing and peaceful moment yelling at me because according to him, I was not allowed to be in speedos in that beach. I tried to calm him down, explaining that I am not a first timer, I come here frequently, I always wear my speedos, there were other men wearing speedos as well. In addition there are no sign saying it is not allowed in this beach. He was getting more irritated , saying this is not America, you are in a Muslim country you have to respect , etc. He even called security. What an embarrassing moment he made me go through . All of this happened, a few minutes before closing swimming hours on that day. As per my understanding of things, lifeguards are there to save lives not to remove customers from the beach. He was out of his mind. After all this drama he made me face. I had no choice to take my belongings and get ready to leave the place because he offered me they will reimburse me the money I have paid. When I finished showering , the floor manager came to check what has happened. At the need he offered me an apology for the inconvenience because that is not a policy of that beach . Me and my friend decided to leave because we did not were welcome . This situation could have been avoided. Two of us are not going back there for sure. My friends who wear speedos and bikinis will find another beach because nobody feel safe when suddenly a lifeguard or someone else approaches you, just because you are different than the way they might think you you...

Read moreWent there around 3pm on a Monday. Although it's a weekday there were a good amount of people but there are still a few lounge beach chairs available. The premises is clean and well-maintained. The water was cool so we decided to have a quick dip. They also have a life guard present during the swimming hours which is only until sunset. There is small play ground for the kids to enjoy, a volleyball and a huge screen and bean bag chairs during the night.
They allow all types of swim wear and there is no restrictions. Couples and huge friend groups are also welcome.
There's not much any selection for food in the vicinity and outside food is not allowed. There's Paul for your coffee and pastry needs, a burger and pizza joint. Ordered a pizza there and it took approximately 15-20 minutes with maybe 2-3 orders ahead of us and it tasted good.
They also have different types of promotions depending on the season. The entrance fee during my visit was only 25 Qr. So better check their Instagram account for updates.
Overall it's a good place to visit if you want to relax and swim on beach without...
