The beach was quite crowded, but I appreciated that the staff informed us beforehand that there might be no umbrellas or chairs left, so it was up to us to decide — and I really liked that honesty. The "real" beach to swim is accessible only via the official entrance gate, which is north of the French embassy, maybe 300 meters and which is with opening hours and has an entrance fee as common to the "real" beaches in Westbay. This spot is just an empty piece of gravel and no swimming opportunity. No chance to "slip through" to Westbay Beach, a guard is taking care..
