I have never been so humiliated in my 14 years since I am in Qatar , the way that the manager of Tahitian Village humiliated me and this is not the first time. I have visited Tahitian Village after approximately 6 months , decided to go for some light dinner and tiki puka pukas, I have arrived at your restaurant totally sober at around 10 PM on a busy Thursday night and no table was available. I went to the bar to order two drinks and I paid by the bar and asked the bartender if any customer has asked for the bill and if any table will get free . The friendly bartender told me that there are two girls who requested for the bill and I can go and sit on that table after they leave . I was standing next to their table and waiting for the table to get free . Then two other guys came and said they want to sit there . The blonde lady manager literally kicked me out of the table and sat me on a standing table right behind the entry door . I did not mind that much AS MUCH AS I MINDED THE WAY SHE SPOKE TO ME, THE TONE SHE USED , THE FACIAL EXPRESSIONS, SHE WAS SO RUDE AND AGGRESIVE AND SHE HAS NO SKILLS TO TALK NICELY AND POLITELY TO PEOPLE . She should not work in customer service , she treated us so badly and we felt so humiliated . After we finished our first round of drinks we had to leave because we felt so bad and uncomfortable to be there . I will never ever visit Tahitian Village as long as that blonde lady manager is there . And this is not the first time she treats us poorly , one year ago we went for brunch and she was rude as well, she doesn’t know how to talk politely to people and how to do service recovery, she doesn’t smile , she treated us as we are dogs. If you want to be humiliated please go to Hilton to Tahitian Village. Is a shame for Hilton to have such employees . Shame on your management to encourage such attitude for your employees. I would like to take this complaint...
Read moreThis was by far my worst experience ever. My friend made reservations for 10 people at this place and the service was despicable! First we went to the receptionist and she was like "Happy Birthday Sir enjoy your evening" then we walk inside and NO ONE GREETED US! we had to flag someone down and tell them we had a reservation. They pointed us to a long table that was covered in water from the condensationof the eveneing and did nothing to seat up or take care of us. My friends wife grabbed some napkins from the bar and we cleaned the seats and table we were sitting at. The staff walked by us for 10 minutes before we grabbed one and he said "You want to order?" we looked at him and were like order what? we dont have a menu or anything. he dropped these little cards on the table with a QR code on it for food and drinks. After waiting for 20 minutes someone finally took our order we got a bucket of beer and promptly contacted another resto/bar called SHOTS.
In the 35 minutes we were at this Tahitian Village we couldnt get anything we had to physically walk to the counter to get our bill so we could leave I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone to visit. I have had a lot of horriblew experiences in my life this was supposed to be a birthday celebration for my friend. I am so glad I was able to work something out wirth the replacement location. The staff weas rude and disrespectful to all of us and they didnt care about anything. Just grossly pathetic I thnk they should be closed and remade into something...
Read moreWorst brunch experience ever and big dissappointment... We went to have nice brunch, but we left upset and angry and not well served. The issue is that we didn't receive what we paid for. The management of the service was bad from the beginning. First of all brunch is served on the plates which are brought to the table. Unfortunately after some time, we had to wait up to 20-30 min for the drinks, and this is not fair as brunch time is only 3 hours. BUT the worst experience came at the end: we didn't get our " last call" drinks and the last part of the menu which are the desserts. We were told by the staff we already had our drinks. But when if we were waiting for them for 1 hour? So we had to explain it to the staff, even few times, that we have never received the drinks. After more than 1 hour plus we finally got the drinks... Another issue is that we never recevied the desserts from the menu. Unacceptable! We were waiting for 2 HOURS (!) and the staff never brought them to us and it was included to the high price of brunch. The service was terrible , messy, and the worst is that we waited for ages for sth that never came ! Unbelievably bad experience for such a nice place. We left without receiving full brunch service we paid for. I will never reccomend this place for brunch, this is absolutely not...
