Reviews are totally misleading. This is the thing:

A: If you come before 13:30 you can look at the water reservoir which is basically a 20x20 meters basin below you, full with water. So deep that you can’t see the bottom of it, only a reflection of the ceiling that gives some kind of artsy feeling. The ticket costs 4.50€ and must be purchased ONLINE. They will also provide you with a QR code on site that takes you to their online ticket shop.

B: The underground tunnels are by reservations ONLY that must be arranged days prior and happens only on weekends and costs extra.

C: If you come after 14:00 (closes at 19:00) you can get 2in1 experience. You get the light and music show that happens inside the very SAME water reservoir and you get to see real experience that is totally worth it. Tickets can be purchased by the entrance in box office...

Taking breath away show of moving images and sound. Transporting me in Van Gogh world and creativity much better than in an normal museum. A very good experience in a space with unique features for this type of show. The enormous digital manipulation work behind the entire show that transforms paintings and colors into moving images, while telling the story of Van Gogh, is something to be seen and appreciated by the public. It is a story told with abundance and not with static and descriptive scenarios in the text. Finally, experiencing the images in Virtual Reality (with VR glasses) makes us immerse ourselves in Van Gogh's time, mind and living conditions with great realism, I felt as if I had crossed a portal to...

This beautiful reservoir structure is one of a series of sites operated by the Museum of Water. It is a stunning space with arches and pillars reflected in the deep blue water. You can climb stairs to the top, where you will see panoramic city views, the impressive aqueduct, the triumphal arch and a chapel built into the aqueduct.

While you are here there’s a lovely park, kiosk, playground and art gallery. One of my absolute favourite places in Lisbon.

Walk one kilometre uphill to another Museum of Water site, the Aguas Livres Aqueduct. You can walk along the top, go inside and walk back. Incredible views of the aqueduct...
