Parcul Cetății din Sibiu se află pe partea sud-estică a vechii cetăți medievale, de-a lungul zidului de apărare. O plimbare prin parc poate fi ocazia ideală pentru a admira cea mai bine păstrată rețea de fortificații a orașului, având în vedere faptul că aceasta a fost renovată în repetate rânduri, astfel încât trei dintre turnurile construite în secolul al XV-lea sunt și azi într-o stare foarte bună: Turnul Olarilor, Turnul Dulgherilor și Turnul Archebuzierilor (redenumit ulterior Turnul Postăvarilor). Lucrarea îi este atribuită colonelului Johann von Vecsey, comandant al regimentului de gardă „baron Spleny nr. 31”, în cinstea căruia a fost dedicată o placă comemorativă în interiorul parcului, în anul 1829. Parcul Cetății era cunoscut drept “Promenada Invalizilor”, fiind un loc preferat de veteranii de război răniți în numeroasele bătălii purtate de Imperiul Habsburgic. Acesta a fost amenajat în anul 1791 pe locul șanțurilor și lacurilor aflate în imediata apropiere a zidului sudic al cetății Sibiului.

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, there isn't a widely recognized "Citadel Park" in Sibiu, Romania. However, Sibiu is known for its historical charm and landmarks, including the medieval Old Town with its well-preserved buildings and squares.

Sibiu does have a citadel known as the "Cetatea Sibiu" or Sibiu Citadel, which is a historic fortress located in the heart of the city. The citadel dates back to the 12th century and has undergone various renovations throughout the centuries. The Citadel Park (Parcul Cetății) is located between the walls of the city. It is not a big parc, but it is streched across the whole Cetății Street. The park also hosts the Sibiu "Walk of Fame" and you can relax by sitting on a bench, because it is very quiet. The Citadel Park is actually the old moat that defended the southern part of Sibiu's fortification wall. In order to preserve the terrain, the place was refurbished as a green space alongside a section of the old fortification wall with three defense towers.
