Hate to leave a negative review but with an experience like I had I feel I should share with others. I have personally been working in the restaurant business for 20+ years. Service is 50% of the business. My group was sat at a table and waited and waited after about 10 minutes we had to get someone's attention to get a menu. From there we waited about 20 minutes wile our waitress was leaning against the wall smoking a cigarette. Wile we sat we saw people around us that were sat about the same time have recived drinks and apps. We still didn't get a drink order in. When our waitress approached there was no hello, greeting of any sort or would you like drinks. She started with your food will take at least an hour in a very nasty tone. I dont know if it's because we are Americans or what but I'd assume being in a tourist Place you'd want tourist business i gues I was wrong. I would not recommend this place at all. Great food in a great location, but VERY SLOW service. Had the Bream (first time I have seen it on a menu outside of Israel) and truffle mashed potatoes. Both were great. Did have to add a little salt to the potatoes, but the truffle taste was so good!! It was 40 minutes before I got my food; so I was finished with my glass of wine and asked for a second glass. By the time I got the second glass (20 minutes later), I had finished my food … very poor timing. Both glasses of wine served in very wet glasses. However, they are quite quick to come back and pick up their tip (which he was very specific to say was not included in the bill). I typically hate leaving bad reviews, but this is a must. We talked to the hostess and she gave us a table. Some guy then proceeded to come up to us and put a reserve sign on the table and was giving us a hard time about giving us that table that the hostess gave us. We sat there for another 20-30min waiting for the server to come to us. Mind you the server was smoking multiple cigarettes while staring at us. When she finally came to the table before saying anything she said the food will take an hour. Our business was not wanted we didn’t feel welcomed at all.
