Kaleidoscop on Nevsky is very close to Mayakovsky metro station and many, many restaurants and a few grocery stores. The Anichkov Bridge over the Fontanka River is less than 10 minutes walk, and that is the start of the historic city center. There is the Nevsky shopping center located a block away. The rooms have a smaller loft bed with outlets near the beds, and the construction was really solid. I think all rooms have a kitchenette, a mini refrigerator, a big sink, and a modern glass top hot plate. There is tea, a water heater, a coffee maker, and limited supply of coffee pods in the room. While the rooms aren't all that large, there are a lot of nice touches, such as window sills that double as shelves or somewhere to sit and lots of hooks to...

Our room was really nice and clean. At the bathroom there was also tampons and pantyliners which other hotels have never offered before. However, if you are staying at room for three people the bed above kitchen might be too small for you if you are taller than 165cm. As I'm below that it suited very well for me. :)||The staff was really nice and super helpful. The location is perfect and people travelling from Finland it's really easy to arrive (with luggages) to the hotel from St. Petersburg's Finland station as the Mayakovskaja metro station is in the same block. ||In general I don't have anything bad to say about this hotel and our stay.
