This beach is a steering point for many of the cruise that take people on a day long excursions to places like Curieuse islands etc. It's therefore busy with people waiting for these boats or getting into the body's etc.

The beach is on the road and hence access is quite easy. It's easy to locate too. There are a few shops around, making it easy for people to buy water, food etc.

Water is clean. However it's not calm when too many boats keep doing ferry. It's quite enjoyable to see the boats standing, quite picturesque.

The beach is beautiful and one can see people swing here at ease. Many girls in the surrounding area and hence for many, this is the convenient beach to visit. Quite a scenic place. One gets to see islands in the waters that are lush green.

This beach too has some weeds based on the season.

The beach is quite a long stretch and one can enjoy having long walk in the sand, which is white and quite smooth.

One had heard of incidences of bag being stolen, so one needs to be careful not to leave the bags unattended.

The bus stop is quite close and bus frequency good. This is accessible using public transport too.

Very convenient place for taking a day long cruise from here. For swimming and snorkeling however one can look forward to many better beaches at Praslin such as anse Lazio,...

There are three things that stand out here: The location of the resort on the beach (Ive walk Cote D'Or beach from start to end and this was the best beach out of all other resorts) How well maintained the beach facilities are (everything is easily accessible, the sand is clean, beach towels are changed daily in the rooms..etc) The amazing staff (everyone: management, reception, security, restaurant, housekeeping, entertainment.. )

There are excursions almost on a daily basis to places on Praslin and other islands that are a must visit like La Digue. (At a fee)

Place is very safe, with security gate and guard and three guard dogs all around.

Negative points:

Internet, internet, internet.. you can't go to a hotel/resort in 2017 and still expect to pay for wi-fi! It did say in the booking that wi-fi is chargable.. but Who would check for that!

This is not really a complaint, especially if you like mixing with other cultures, but the resort is predominantly Italian (notice boards are in italian, excursion announcements are in italian, restaurant is italian, entertainment is italian). But 90% of the staff speaks other languages (English, French and Spanish) and they tried their best to make us feel included in...

Depending on what you are looking for this can be the best beach on the Seychelles. If your looking for soft white sand and a calm sea for swimming, this is the best beach on the islands. The sand (stretch on the east side) is the softest we found of all beaches on the Seychelles and this is the best place for swimming and relaxing. Sure it lacks the drama that Anse Lazio and Georgette have but at the end of the day this is the place to come to relax. Note that there are some boulders on the far east of this beach where you can get some amazing photo's that rival that of the best beaches of the Seychelles and you'll have the place to yourself since nobody seems to take the effort to...

Cote D'Or Beach is a stunning destination that offers a perfect escape for those seeking tranquility. The beach is impeccably clean, with crystal-clear waters that are ideal for swimming. What sets it apart is the lack of crowds, making it a peaceful haven where you can truly relax and soak in the natural beauty. One of the best parts? There’s no entry fee, allowing everyone to enjoy this slice of paradise. During my visit, a rain shower added to the charm, and I was lucky enough to witness a beautiful rainbow afterward—a truly magical experience! If you're in Praslin, Cote D'Or Beach is a must-visit for its serene ambiance, pristine waters, and breathtaking views.

A lovely long beach, good for swimming and relaxing. We came here after Anse Lazio which had a rough day - high and strong waves, not good for swimming. So on our way back we decided to stop by since we noticed the calm sea. And loved it. The sea was great for swimming, with dreamy blue color and not so strong waves. We were also lucky unlike other visitors based on the comments - we didn’t see any rays or baby sharks. A lit of debris, but not too much. Overall the beach is amazing to lay back, relax, enjoy the sun and the dreamy blue color of the sea. Since it’s a very long beach it’s not so crowded, so you can easily find your peace, or enjoy a long swim.
