We rarely leave reviews, but in this case we felt compelled to share, in the hope that the feedback will be taken constructively.
We visited around 7:00 PM, when the restaurant was only half full — not a rush hour by any means. We placed a modest order: a fish curry and a Four Seasons pizza. Drinks arrived promptly, and we appreciated the initial hospitality. But then… we waited. And waited. Over 50 minutes passed before our food was brought to the table.
During that time, we politely inquired several times about our order. Each time, the staff seemed caught off guard and offered only vague reassurance. There was no update, no apology, no proactive communication. This silence, more than the delay itself, was what truly disappointed us.
When the food arrived, our hopes were, regrettably, not rewarded. The curry was acceptable — flavorful, as curries often are — but the portion of fish was surprisingly small for a main dish. The pizza, unfortunately, was of a quality we would not expect from any restaurant. It tasted like something that had missed both the recipe and the oven’s full attention.
To add to this, the space lacked any ventilation, and in the warm, humid air, the dining experience quickly turned from mildly uncomfortable to difficult to enjoy. One would hope that a restaurant inviting guests to stay and dine would at least offer the minimum comfort of air movement.
We genuinely believe this place has potential. The location is lovely, the staff seem well-meaning, and the idea is good. But the gap between intention and execution, on this evening, was simply too wide. For now, we wouldn’t recommend it — especially when so many take-away options nearby offer faster service, better quality, and...
Read moreThe restaurant is located right next to our hotel, which is why we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the name “Pizzeria” was quite misleading – the pizza served was clearly a frozen, pre-made pizza, not freshly prepared. That was disappointing and didn’t live up to the name.
The salad was okay, nothing special but acceptable. As for the Pina Colada, the first one was poorly mixed, but after I gave feedback, I was kindly offered a new one, which tasted much better. The service was friendly and attentive throughout – no complaints there.
The location of the restaurant is actually very nice, and the setting is pleasant as well. It’s just a shame that the food didn’t meet expectations. For that reason, I cannot recommend this restaurant – especially if you’re expecting real pizza. There are much better options...
Read moreNice pizzeria with a great view. It's a shame that in the morning, it's the fever of a scammer named Quentin (a black Frenchman often with a basketball player's cap and clothes). He walks the beach all day to take you on an excursion to Curieuse and St Pierre which is completely useless (no fins for snorkeling and you will be left to yourself on the islands). Moreover, if you don't have the exact sum, he will meet you at the end of the excursion to give you change, but in fact, he will disappear with your money. Be careful not to get ripped off by...
