Location
Surfer's Corner is located on the Atlantic Road, the closest road to the beach in the Muizenberg Area. But as the name suggest, its on the corner/bend of the road.
Surrounding Area
Directly across the beach in the parking area, there are plenty of take away food places, restaurants and surf shops, you can hire some equipment and you can even take up a surfing lesson.
There is a water park close by, as well as putt putt area, kids play park and the Muizenberg Swimming Pools.
The Beach
The water is basically the same as St.James, just with the addition of the waves actually able to hit you. closer to the corner/bend of the beach where most of the surfers are, you are able to see seals swimming close by, the beach is also a little risky with the possibility of sharks in the water.
The sand on the beach was very soft, which made it very comfortable to relax in and also to build things if you mixed it with a little water.
If you are not up for swimming, and drive a little away from the beach towards Baden Powell drive side, then you can catch fish from the beach as well.
