Harvest Café — Restaurant in Muizenberg

Such a shame because the cafe is so nice and we love the menu. But today we sat down and no body said hello al the employees were on there phones. When I walked inside to order at 12:01 they told me i couldn’t order any breakfast anymore because that was till 12:00. The sad part is that we were waiting for over 15 minutes till somebody was helping us. The response of the staff was that I had to order inside. I would have been nice if someone told us that and said hello. No the staff was really unkind so we decided to go somewhere else Which I think is sad because I really like the place. Hopefully when I try again the staff would be more welcoming...

Let's start with the positive :) : Very lovely and attentive staff and nice juices!

But:

This used to be my favourite spots in Muizenberg. Unfortunately not just the stunning interior and wonderful atmosphere has changed immensely (from a cohesive, thought-through and authentic style with real plants, beautiful wooden WAWA surfboards and an organic feel to plastic plants and more of a mix & match kind of vibe) but also the food quality was not what it used to be.

The menus switched from wooden boards with paper to plastic and a bagel with cream cheese and salmon was declared as vegan... No problem per se but noticeable if you know how the...

Never going back, overpriced, poor service, broken chairs, broken toilet paper dispenser etc. asked for honey, was told it would be brought to me, eventually went inside again and was told there wasn’t any, no sugar was brought with the coffee in the 1st place. Babychino( milk froth) was charged as flat white R35???? We were 3/4 of our way through our meal by the time my sons food arrived and his order was wrong… should have just left without...
