HAGINDANG — Attraction in Jeonju-si

What an amazing experience. We spent one night here and it was excellent. I have seen these historic buildings in movies and historic dramas, and visited them as heritage sites, but it was really special to stay in one. The building is beautiful, and so interesting, with all sorts of (to me) unusual features. Getting to use the sliding panels separating rooms, not tripping over the wooden steps between rooms, sleeping on a traditional mattress on a heated floor were all enjoyable experiences. Its in a perfect location in the middle of HanOk Village in JeonJu city. It has so much Korean traditional charm and style. As you can see from all of the rave reviews, this place is absolutely amazing

KwangJe and His wife are wonderful hosts! They are very responsive and helpful. The host KwangJe is talented taking photo since he has been taking pictures for more than 10 years as a hobby and he he took a nice portrait of me with beautiful background. I would definitely come back for stay...

This place is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. This old house is build in 1908, very well maintained and still the builder's offspring manages this place beautiful. They care all details in there and make staying in 학인당 Hagindang awesome. If you add just 1 dollar per person you can enjoy simple but lovely breakfast like snack in the morning, and for 10 dollar per person then manager will take some awesome pictures of you. To be honest with you those pictures were way way better than I took in the photo studio paid 40 dollar for 4 pictures. Hot water pressure was very nice and blanket was clean and comfy, place was awesome as well. If I need to pick one weakness, because the house is old so there was no sound proof.

최고의 숙박 경험을 했습니다. 위치도 정말 좋고, 이 곳에 묵으면 굳이 밖에 나가서 뭔가 하지 않아도 될 만큼 고택 자체의 풍경과 분위기가 좋았습니다. 1인당 1,100원을 추가하면 약과와 떡이 있는 정갈한 아침 다과상이 나오는데 맛있기도 하고 정성스러웠습니다. 바쁜 아침에 작은 여유로 배고프지 않게 시작할 수 있어서 좋았습니다. 찍어주신 사진도 정말 예뻤고 또 매니저님이 아주 친절하셨습니다. 온수도 아주 잘 나옵니다. 단점을 굳이 꼽자면 고택이기 때문에 방음이 잘 되지 않습니다....
