The park is place we like to go when we want to relax. The park is an obvious place of escaping the constraints of the life around us. People are walking around the trail, children playing on the playground, and the place generally seems to be at a more relaxed place in the park. My visit to the park was one that I thought would reveal a certain level of peace. It did.

There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, making it easy to grab a meal or a coffee. A full walk around the fortress takes about two hours at a normal pace.

Read moreOne of the more impressive and iconic sections of the fortress wall and also one of the most crowded, although to be fair the crowds aren't bad compared to a lot of other tourist attractions in Korea. The walls here are incredibly well-maintained and still look imposing today, and the modern traffic running through this gate makes for some interesting photos. If you're only walking part of the fortress walls, I'd say this section should be number one...
