I’m going to be 100% honest, this was my least favorite experience at a spa and I’ve traveled the world. The price does not match the service I received and that is disappointing traveling 11+ hours to get here from America. I booked the VIP thermal circuit, body scrub, and Hawaii lomi lomi massage. The scrub itself left my skin subtle but I don’t feel like the masseuse cared much and service was lack luster. She barely touched my feet and never once scrubbed or massaged the bottoms of my feet. She just touched the top of them almost like she was disgusted or something I’m not sure. I’m wondering does she do every service for everybody like that or just me? I’m just trying to figure out why I feel like this. During my entire service she was focusing everywhere else but my feet. I was under the impression that these services I booked were full body and the fact that she missed such an important part of my body irritated me. I felt like getting some of the scrub and doing it myself in intimate areas and my armpits because she didn’t get every spot like I’m used to. I’m not sure if she was scared to touch me or what but I like people to treat me as they would treat themselves and be thorough. This was supposed to make me feel relaxed and at peace but the lack of effort did the opposite effect. I spent over €200 and won’t ever return nor recommend to anyone. I’m writing this while sitting in their lobby. You’ve been warned…

All of the individual parts of the spa were lovely. The jacuzzi, the jets and the salt pool were particular highlights. Advertised well as individual elements. The whole spa is in need of a bit of a revamp - the walls are just bare breeze blocks so give it a leisure centre vibe rather than a luxury spa (as it markets itself). Same with the changing rooms. A few things made this not the perfect relaxing visit we hoped for but all could be improved in the future. We got the VIP day for two for €100 between us - the difference being we got a Balinese bed and some food. The bed was just the same as the others in the corner of the relaxing areas with a canopy overhead - it was reserved for us which was nice but nothing amazing here. The food was a joke really for the price - 10 potatoes between us and as we weren’t drinking opted for juice and it was a child’s carton of synthetic juice. Also the website says children 10am-12pm only but children were in the pool the whole time we were there 12pm - 2:30pm. There was also a man in his underwear rather than swim shorts which was obviously really unpleasant.

We booked this via “Get Your Guide” which was way cheaper than the prices on the website. It was a very good experience but three hours maximum is about all we could do. Sauna, Turkish Steam Room, a variety of showers, plunge pool, hot jacuzzi’s, various bubble/jet areas and water showers for massaging the body and a small “lazy river” type thing. Also a warm salt water pool. Need to take your own towel (into the spa area as have to use it in the sauna) if you don’t book direct. Clean facilities, well looked after. Entry and lockers operated by a wristband you are given on arrival. Beds/chairs around the edge of the pool to relax and a relaxation room. We didn’t use the gym and wasn’t sure we could if we wanted to. Little cafe in the entrance for when you come out thirsty and hungry! I would recommend a visit if you fancy something relaxing to do.

It’s so-so. I think social media and their website make the location seem more premium than it is. It looks quite run down. The water is pretty cold and the bubbles in the hot tub, had a weird (and I don’t want to know what) brown colour to them.

I was disappointed that people could take photos inside, I’m not fussed if someone wants a photo or two but when I went, a group of six people were basically having a photo shoot and both myself and my sister were in 99% of their photos which is really unfair as we paid to have a relaxing time. We spoke to someone working there about it but they didn’t seem to care. I thought it was quite bizarre that they’re strict on things like not wearing shoes and leaving your towel in certain areas when they allowed people to take photos with multiple strangers in. Ruining it for others. Also saw a woman walking around pushing a pram poolside as well as an elderly lady with two walking sticks. I find it hard to believe that they care about health and safety if they allowed that. You also don’t get free towels or robes.

Overall I thought the place was very run down with holes in the brickwork and the ceiling dripping water. It was also difficult to get a taxi from there and had to wait over 40 mins before we got one. We left an hour early because it was that disappointing. I would recommend saving your money and...

I highly recommend this spa and would definitely be a member if I lived in Tenerife. My wife and I were visiting and we enjoyed our experience there so much that we returned a few days later despite only visiting Tenerife for just under a week! The spa is very well maintained and boasts an excellent mix of treatments, facilities and services to cater to your every need. All the staff that we interacted with were extremely pleasant and kind - the attention to customer service and experience was definitely one of the highlights. Besides the spa package I also opted for a massage, specifically the intense massage. Without a doubt that was one of the best massages I've ever had. I would highly recommend that you ask for Vera if she is available - she worked wonders on my back! On our first visit I had a 30 minute massage which I enjoyed so much that on our second visit I chose to have an hour long massage. That should tell you what you need to know about what a great experience it was! All in all, we left the spa extremely relaxed and satisfied with our experience there along with all the lovely people that attended to us so well. Needless to say, we'll be back at Aqua whenever we visit...
