Wouldn't accept my valid, in date European Health Insurance Card due to "Brexit" despite me being an Irish and EU citizen and Brexit having nothing to do with me! I questioned if this was the same for German and French patients as I thought they were assuming Ireland was part of the UK or assuming I was somehow British and they said it would apply to them too. They said I can claim it back but I'm not sure if this will be possible, I have tried and I'm waiting a response. I realised when I received the receipt that I was charged €40 for a urine test that I did not need (I had no symptoms for this), I did the urine test as I thought it would be included in the consultation fee as it is at home, I've never had to pay extra for this before. The doctor doesn't speak English which is fine, as there is a translator but he is very rude. Consultation is €65 and follow up appointment €55 and I was charged €20 for a medical report. Despite the treatment working I did feel cheated leaving the place and completely taken advantage of in my...
Read moreRecommended by TUI rep after a chest infection, followed by a course of two antibiotics in the UK with no change, worsened whilst on holiday. Within minutes the doctor who was Spanish, very efficient and professional, diagnosed me with pneumonia. The treatment was a five day course of steroid/antibiotic injections and daily nebulisers, then a two day course of tablets as there was a very small bit left. I am now clear thanks to the expertise and care of the doctor and his staff who translated. I do understand some Spanish but not enough medical words so it was very helpful that staff translated. I have sent the report to my travel insurance company. The prices are comparable with a private doctor where I live. I very much recommend this doctor, his recommended treatment was very much what I needed with this illness to avoid a potential stay...
Read moreI totally do not recommend this place. It’s a complete SCAM. We went to them with concerns about a possible snake bite since the leg was swollen. Luckily, it was just an insect bite. They charged us 65 EUR for the consultation and offered a 3-day antibiotic treatment for 500 EUR, which we declined. In the end, they only prescribed allergy medicine.
For the 65 EUR consultation, they gave us an envelope with a bill, claiming it had everything needed for the insurance company. However, the problem was that the insurance company also required a medical report, which they didn’t include.
We then emailed the address provided on the bill, only to find out that this email doesn’t even exist. We emailed twice to the address listed on their website... no response for a week. I called them as well, but no one answers the phone.
Stay far away...
