I went here solo, it was booked out, the lady realised i had used my google maps to find it and i was also alone, so she told me come back for the last viewing. This was very kind of her, as i was leaving the next day,. When you go, you watch an interesting video clip for 10/15 mins in spanish but has English subtitles, which was very interesting. However when you actually visit the shelters, everything is in Spanish & the tour guide talks a lot & fast, so i definitely felt i missed out. They should definitely have some information printed in various languages, even to purchase at an extra cost, as they just charge €3 to enter, which is very cheap. The shelters were kept in great condition & you could even see the medical wing. Definitely worth a visit if you speak /understand Spanish. You cant get out till the tour is finished, i think it lasted...

One of the most amazing places I have ever visited! Fascinating, Historical, Important, Scary, mysterious, intriguing and impressive. It was easy to book on-line on the web a few days before our visit. I recommend this. The entry kiosk is very small and you have to look closely to see the entry door. Amazing architectural engineering. The member of staff who led our tour was passionate and informative. (The tour is given in Spanish, and the guide kindly interpreted a little into English for us, as Spanish is not our first language). It starts with a video, and there are English subtitles on the video. You must see this place, Hopefully it helps us all think carefully about preserving peace...
