We stopped by Gastrobar Cal Blay before our visit to Spotify Camp Nou, and it was the perfect way to kick off our day! ⚽🍹 The location is super convenient, just steps away from the stadium entrance, making it ideal for grabbing a bite or drink before or after a match or tour.

The atmosphere was relaxed and lively, with plenty of seating under shaded umbrellas, which was a blessing on a warm Barcelona day. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and quick with service, even though the place was buzzing with football fans and visitors. 🌞🙌

We tried a few dishes, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The patatas with eggs were perfectly cooked and so comforting, while the Asian-style noodles and dumplings were surprisingly delicious and packed with taste. 🥟🍜 Pairing it with a refreshing classic mojito and a chilled sangria made the experience even better. 🍹🍷

It’s casual dining, but the quality really stood out — simple, well-made food that hit the spot without being overpriced. Whether you’re here for a game, a tour, or just exploring the area, this gastrobar is a must-stop for good vibes and great food. The place is just terrible! First things first, no waitress could not even recommend anything or inform kindly that some positions in the menu were not available on that day - she just yelled at once under her nose that there are NO smoothies! - really customer-centric approach! Hence, I and my friend ordered some lemonade. We were waiting for over 25 minutes to get the drinks delivered and it never happened - so we left. Another waitress was not even able to speak English - she just waved her hand and showed huge ignorance towards foreigners as she was not smart enough to learn English - pathetic! I think she could be more competent as a cleaning lady with her qualifications - not to mention that this bar is next to the one of the most prominent touristic places in Barcelona - Camp Nou, so some linguistic skills should be a commonplace. This only indicates that the management team is as lame as the employees...

Nice location however when we asked to sit outside we got give a food and drinks menu, once sat down another waitress came to us and said food was inside. Would have been nice to tell before hand. After sitting down inside we ordered our food. Hot dog, sausage was so small compared to the bread but overall decent. Hamburger was underdone. I understand if it was a gourmet burger but not a burger that tasted like one from a funfair. Now, the fries. I don’t even know if I can call them that, shipped like fries do t get me wrong but we’re so small and so thin, might as well of called them crisps. Overall wouldn’t go again and wouldn’t recommend food. Only thing going for it is...
