Guingueta Maluké — Restaurant in Barcelona

I hope just 1 person reads this in time to avoid. I realise after belatedly reading reviews that I was overcharged and deliberately. If you do go then make a careful note of everything you order and price. I thought it odd at the time that there was no bill just a member of staff (different to one who served us) who appeared with a card machine/tablet. The initial bill was for £138 for 3 meals and 3 drinks with 2 sides. I immediately queried and chap disappeared and said it should be &118 ( no apology). I paid this as I didn't want to create a scene in front of my children but felt it was still too much. I now realise after reading other reviews that this is a deliberate ploy which catches you out when in holiday mode. Much better value and quality in Gothic...

Sat here to enjoy a lovely glass of red wine. Dont remember seeing the price but I’m thinking it can’t be expensive as it’s Spain. Ask for the bill and I was presented with a card machine with the amount obsecured. Luckily my card is linked to my watch so the amount came up straight away on my watch….€20!!! I then had to spend another 20 minutes trying to get the waiters attention who then needed a manager for a refund. Turns out they charged me for a whole bottle . Manager was very apologetic but I suspect this is a common tactic. Thank you for modern technology. But please ask to review the menu with prices and also the bill before trusting...

I ordered only one dish and drink - a burger and a coke. They brought me a bill that was 3 euros higher. When I looked carefully, I also saw water there. I don't know how you can accidentally make a mistake and add water to the bill where there are only two items. In the photo you can see two invoices that I received. Of course, no one even apologized. I read the previous comments, and it seems that this is the tactic of the employees of this bar. Please note that this is not a fiscal bill, you can change/add...
