A Very Bad Experience
The pizza was normal , but the service was not. The waitress was incredibly rude and racist, refusing to help in any way. I visited in August 2024, and to this day, I can’t forget how impolite she was. I wanted to dine in and have a pizza, but she told me they were closing—even though it was 45 minutes before their actual closing time, and other customers were still inside eating and ordering. She reluctantly "let me" order a pizza for takeaway. While waiting, I ordered a drink.
The pizza was ready 15 minutes later, and people were still dining inside—the restaurant was clearly still open. I was starving, so I opened the box and took a slice. She immediately became rude and disrespectful, snapping, "No, you have to take it away—you can’t eat it here!" (Even though the prices were the same for dine-in and takeaway.) I replied, "Take it easy, I’ll eat quickly and leave—I won’t take long." Plus, I hadn’t even finished my drink yet.
Then, she aggressively said, "We have plastic cups—I’ll transfer your drink," and snatched the glass from the table so violently that she spilled half of it on my clothes and the pizza! She just muttered "sorry" without any real remorse. The pizza was now soaked, and instead of fixing the situation, she simply repackaged it in a new box, poured my drink into a plastic cup, and kept pressuring me to leave—as if I hadn’t paid or as if I were causing a scene.
I ended up eating outside on the street like a homeless person. Words can’t fully describe how humiliating and disrespectful the whole experience was. I hate that place now—* because of the horrible service.*
If they don’t want to serve tourists, they should just stop working in hospitality. They make their job seem so difficult, but it’s their choice and responsibility to act professionally. They earn good salaries (compared to other countries) plus tips—they should be grateful and treat customers with basic respect.
To fellow tourists: Avoid this place unless you want to be treated with hate...
Read moreWe had a family meal here this evening. The menu includes pasta, pizzas, burgers and salads and is reasonably priced. We had a chicken burger, which was a good size and had a lovely crispy coating, fettuccini al salmone, which includes plenty of salmon and was deliciously creamy, and two pizzas which were the real deal and passed our boys' "cheese stretch" test. We had water and Coke, which were pretty good value too. I would have appreciated a side dish of green vegetables with the pasta but I didn't ask whether this was available.
It seems a popular place, and we could see why. The food was very good. We were seated in an uncovered area but which had glass all around it so we could see the sea but felt...
Read morePizzas we're great. Service was slow and not very professional. Everyone was nice, but had to call over waiter eveytime we needed something. We sat down and we waited 10 minutes until I called over the server to get some drinks. We got drinks and straight away he wanted us to order food. Asked for a minute, then didn't appear again until we called for him. Same was with the desserts and the bill. Wasn't busy, so no excuse really. There was a lot of camaraderie behind the bar though. They also forgot one of my ingredients on my pizza, fresh chili. When I mentioned it, he just put a pot of dried chili flakes on the table. Was nice aswell, but not what was described on menu. All in all nice, and...
