Loved my first visit to Marenostrum. Went to see Lionel Ritchie with some friends.
Excellent experience.
Easy to find Great info from venue ahead of the event Quick access from motorway First car park was easy to find but full Easy to drive around venue Easy to find alternative parking Short walk back Helpful door/gate staff Amazing location once inside the gates Spectacular views from inside Very well organised seating & guidance Superb sound Backdrop of the sea was stunning
Special mention & thanks to the food and drink areas.
Good quality food at higher prices but not excessive for a concert venue.
And the service and quality were great. Delicious and well presented food that we all enjoyed in a beautiful outdoor setting.
There were tables, chairs and arriving early gave us plenty of choice and opportunities to sit.
The bar was a revelation for a venue. Because everything is outdoors and just yards from the sea there was a festival/holiday feel about everything except the prices.
I had a rose and told it was ‘2 for 1’. The cost was €7 euros including the glass (a lovely marenostrum good quality plastic tumbler with info on other gigs in 2025. You could return it for €2 refund.
None of us did.
We were all very happy that the drinks were not ridiculously overpriced (as we are so used to that in the UK).
We were even asked if we wanted to pay together or separately.
Great service throughout the whole venue!
Overall - easy to get to, a beautiful location, fantastic atmosphere, delightful audience, fabulous staff and facilities all topped off with an excellent concert!
Note: facilities in terms of toilets were impressive. I happily paid €1 (which I think was optional) for the well manned, clean & easily accessible toilets that were on site. Plenty of them too.
Highly recommended and I’m already looking forward to going back!!
Even Lionel Ritchie was saying ‘what a great experience...
Read moreWe’ve been coming to the Mare Nostrum concerts in Fuengirola for years, and every time it’s a fantastic experience. The venue is really well organised — great access, solid security, and clean enough facilities (which you can’t always say about outdoor events).
What makes it truly special is the setting: right by the sea, with views of the water and the iconic Sohail Castle just next door. You’ve got food and drink stalls inside, plenty of space, and the sound quality is usually excellent.
We usually park near the Miramar shopping centre, which is just a short walk away and makes getting in and out super easy. Highly recommend this venue if you’re ever in Fuengirola during the summer season — they really know how to...
Read moreLamentablemente no puedo decir nada bueno.
