Playa de Alcalá — Attraction in Guía de Isora

Alcalá is the perfect beach to fully immerse yourself in the tradition and beauty of the customs of the town that gives it its name. Geweldig! De aanhouder wint! Ik hoorde dat je hier een grote kans had op schildpadden. Na ruim een uur snorkelen en zoeken was ik er klaar mee en wilde ik ophouden. De rotsen en rif zijn hier overigens erg mooi! Bij het terug zwemmen kwam ik oppeens twee schildpadden tegen een grote en een kleine. Dik 20 minuten rondgehangen, super tof om ze te zien eten en zwemmen.

Goed nu de instructies om een ander een uur zwemmen te besparen. Als je hier bij de trappen in het water gaat zie je een flinke stenenmuur van rotsen voor je. (Valt niet te missen) daar zwem je naar toe ongeveer 100m onderweg kom je veel rotsen en vissen tegen, ik heb ook een zeeslang gezien erg mooi. Als je bij de muur bent zwem je er omheen tot dat je in een baai zit tussen een wit huis met palmbomen en de muur van rotsen aan je linkerkant. Daar heb ik de schildpadden gezien. Van een locale man (die verrassend genoeg goed Engels kon) hoorde ik dat daar regelmatig schildpadden zitten. Ik was daar tussen 13 en 16 uur. Zwem ook een keer naar de boten toe vanaf de trap daar wil in het zand een rog zitten. Ik heb hem helaas niet gezien maar een andere snorkelaar wel. Zeker de moeite waard om hier een middag te...
