If you're looking for a place that will take your taste buds on an unforgettable journey, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit! I had the best steak I've ever tasted here – perfectly cooked, juicy, and seasoned to perfection, enhancing the natural flavor of the meat without overpowering it. Every bite was a true feast for the senses. The homemade wine that was recommended to us as a pairing was a perfect choice – rich, full-bodied, with subtle fruit notes that perfectly complemented the intensity of the steak. It truly completed the evening. For dessert, I couldn't resist the tiramisu, which was an absolute masterpiece! Light, creamy, with a delicate hint of coffee and just the right amount of sweetness – it simply melted in my mouth. Finally, I must mention the service, which was top-notch – professional, courteous, and always with a smile, making the evening even more special. Without a doubt, this is a place I will return to with great pleasure, and I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates excellent cuisine and an exceptional atmosphere. This restaurant is an absolute must-visit for anyone planning a trip to Tenerife. Whether you're a local or a traveler, this place is a culinary gem that should be at the top of your list.

wow - just wow. What a find. We were recommended this restaurant by a local friend and although sceptical, we thought we would give it a go. If you are a lover of steak, this place hands down beats anywhere else I have eaten, including 5* hotels and the likes of the Savoy Grill in London. It’s a lovely small and intimate affair, tucked away down an unassuming side alley, run by a marvellous couple who’s love for each other, love of their respective cultures (Italian and Polish) and boundless energy translates directly to the quality of their food, attention to detail and exceptional service, left us grinning from ear to ear. Everything is hand made from start to finish, the ravioli starter was cooked and seasoned to perfection. My wife chose the rump steak (medium rare) whilst I went for a 500g Rib eye (rare). The flavours elicited from the carefully chosen cuts were simply out of this world. The name, 3 Raices, translates to 3 Roots in English, depicting the restaurants cultural roots, Italian, Polish and Canarian; elements of which are visible both in the decor and the food. So I will end where I started…. Wow…. just wow!!!

Two Italian guys and a Polish girl with one dream. Simple but at the same time very tasty cuisine. My girlfriend and I ordered a Simmenthal fillet and a tuna steak, both very fresh and of excellent quality. The meat was very tender, cooked with skill and dedication. We accompanied everything with a couple of light Polish IPA beers, but there is also a wide choice of red and white wines (local and international). The restaurant is tastefully decorated, with attention to detail and very clean. Pictures and lights make the atmosphere cosy, but at the same time sophisticated. I recommend making a reservation, as the restaurant is very well known and popular with locals. Credit card and cash are both accepted. In summary, highly recommended ;)

Warning to solo diners or anyone visiting from abroad — I don’t think this restaurant welcomes us 😂 In fact, I felt discriminated against and deliberately treated as if I didn’t belong.

On the evening of 20 May, I walked in hoping to have a peaceful dinner — I was getting a bit bored with hotel’s buffet. A lady with short hair was smiling warmly and chatting with a couple before me. Once they left, I said “table for one,” and she frowned, repeating, “Oh, only one person?” before pointing me to a corner table.

I sat down and was ignored for quite some time. When she finally brought the menus, she dropped them on the bench next to me — not even placing them on the table — and abruptly switched to Spanish, despite having initially spoken to me in English. I immediately said, “I don’t speak Spanish,” and she reluctantly switched back to English. That was the moment I decided to walk out. It was clear I wasn’t welcome — whether because I’m a solo female diner, or simply not local, I don’t know.

Maybe this restaurant thinks it’s too posh or romantic for people like me? But I’ve been staying at other five-star hotels in Tenerife and the staff there made me feel completely welcomed. I’ve also dined solo at Michelin-starred restaurants around the world — and I’ve never been treated this way anywhere else.

Where I live, being a solo female traveler and diner is actually considered a pretty cool thing to do. So yes — this restaurant gave me a very strange experience. Strange for Tenerife, strange for Europe, and strange for anywhere I’ve been. Just leaving this as a heads-up for others, because this isn’t something you’d normally expect, and certainly not something anyone deserves to be tested on.

——-in response to reply below———

I appreciate your response, but I must clarify that this was not a “misunderstanding” or a vague impression. The sequence of events was concrete: being greeted with a frown, questioned for dining alone, having the menus dropped beside me rather than placed on the table, and being deliberately addressed in a language I clearly did not understand.

These actions occurred regardless of the server’s personal background — which, while noted, does not excuse the impact of her behavior. Whether intentional or not, the result was an experience that left me feeling unwelcome.

I’m also aware there were other staff members present at the time, yet no one — including the waitress herself — made any effort to follow up, intervene, or even ask what was wrong when I walked out. That silence spoke for itself.

That said, I am willing to revise the rating except the service. Please consider this purely as a gesture of goodwill — not to dismiss what happened, but in the hope that it encourages improvement in future guest interactions.

Thank you for the invitation, but my travel plans do not...

The food was incredible. But our waiter Fabritzio was incredibly rude. I was dining with some people who are Muslim and they had already mentioned that they do not drink because of this after being offered wine so we ordered 4 wagu raviolis which did not mention having any pork in the menu and the waiter did not ask any of us for allergies or anything. The food comes out and has bacon pieces on top of it and so we asked very politely if they were able to remove the bacon pieces. Fabritzio was very upset by this and demanded that any guest that goes into a restaurant should mention their allergies before ordering but as the waiter he did not ask. He continued to sit on a small ledge behind our table while we were eating and argue with us about the right way to be a customer in a restaurant. We are all hospitality students and we told him this and that as a waiter you should be asking for allergies and he told us that he works in hospitality and we should not tell him how to work. He then stepped away from the table and returned to add more comments to the arguement and I asked him for his name in which he replied by questioning me about writing a review and then continued to ask me for my name? This was so disrespectful and I have never experienced this type of service in a restaurant before. It is such a pity because the food is so good. Towards the end of the meal he came over and apologised and offered us some dessert and to make the ravioli on the house. This is nice of them but unfortunately does not change what...
