We stopped in here late in the evening on the way down from a day trip to El Teide. We parked up on a main street nearby - parking was easy to find. La Orotava is very high up and some of the streets are narrow and very, very steep so drive carefully :-)
The restaurant is in a lovely location right in the centre of La Orotava, next to Iglesia de San Agustin. There are are great views down towards the ocean and Puerto de la Cruz.
The food was great with an extensive menu including lots of hearty local dishes. My favourite dish was Secreto Iberico con Cebolla Caramelizada (pork with caremalised onions, and of course salted potatoes) - it was super. The mojitos were pretty good too.

If you are here you can also try Polvito Urugayo - sweet...

We had G&T while we decided if we wanted to stay - we saw other people ordering food that looked great and decided to go for it with two starters - we were very happy. We had the tuna tatami special and the prawns in filo with basil and honey (this was an amazing flavour combination) then shared the Secret Iberico pork main with local potatoes. All was fantastic and service very good too. Not the cheapest place but food, service and atmosphere all good. Local...
