Big supermarket and super disorganised, staff at the shopfloor are extremely unhelpful and rude, it feels like they don't give a damn thing about thier job, I hope the admin staff are different and they can look at this. The prices are not displayed correctly in accordance with the name of products as stated by the EU laws. Charcuterie's staff have no clue about the products and no lables are displayed to show the price and the name of the products, we bought a french cheese (Comte) that by the way there was no label or sticker to show the name neither the price of the comte cheese we only knew by our experience so we wanted to know is it's 6, 12 or 18 months old, none of the three lady was able to provide an answer and they were not bothered to find out an answer, we had to ask them kindly to let us read the sticker on the back of the cheese to look for an answer, an answer which was right in front of their eyes. However, as we were waiting for our order we notice that the ladys there have absolutely no clue about how to conserve the products and we were wondering why the cecina was gray colour instead of...
Read moreThis is the best supermarket in the area! They have everything—from food like meats, fish, and cheese to household items and cosmetics. There’s also a large section for pet food and toys.
They offer a wide selection of wines and oils, delicious bread, and fresh meat, fish, and dairy products every day. If you’re looking for a bigger variety of fresh fish, like crabs and shrimp, octopus, that’s typically available on the weekend—Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Their dairy section is also impressive, with both fresh dairy products and a variety of cheeses stocked daily. Fresh fruits and vegetables are restocked every day, and they have sections for protein products, including powders, as well as dedicated vegan and organic areas.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Even though I don’t speak Spanish, they always assist me with a big smile and lots of patience.
The supermarket is conveniently located in the Las Arenas mall and has everything you need. Highly recommend! It was our go-to grocery spot...
Read moreBig variety, often good offers / bargains. However, often they lack of continuity. For example, baby milk, first they have all of the hipp products. Suddenly combiotic version disappears. Then continuation milk disappears for weeks, now they only put the initial (1) baby milk, no continuation (2) or growth (3) baby milk of the regular hipp product. However, now they've put the combiotic baby milk in the place, which is a bit of a different product and costs 10 euros more (while on our trip to UK we've only paid about 9 pounds, here they charge about 24 euros per 800 grams.... But that's a different story). Also in other products you can see lack of continuity in the product range. The cold cuts (butcher in the carrefour) should be fresh, but often after 2 or 3 days the cold cuts start to smell bad. Also often you got to wait long to be attended at the butchers. For the rest Carrefour is usually a solid /good experience for a...
