Kawama Bistró Best sandwiches in Malaga — Restaurant in Málaga

Happened to stop here after a fun walk around Malaga this morning. I really like the ambiance of this place. Very quaint and laid back. The waitress was very sweet and explained their subs to me. I picked the malagueña.

Soo, this was one of the best submarine sandwiches I’ve had in quite some time. Excellent—everything was just right but my goodness the bread is something to write about. Fantastic —-and slightly toasted it was perfect. Definitely try a sub here, you won’t be disappointed.

The owner popped in while I was there and introduced herself. Turned out she’s lived in my state a while a back so was fun to talk about that. She highly recommended their cheese cake so I gave it a try. Holy Moses that was good. So make sure you get that too. I’m definitely visiting Kawama again before...

Absolutely blown away by Kawama Bistro in Málaga! Annette, the owner, is a total gem — warm, passionate, and clearly pours her heart into everything she serves. You can feel her energy the moment you walk in.

I had the St. Bartz sandwich with salmon and honestly, it was to die for. Perfectly balanced, fresh, and so flavorful it stopped me mid-bite. And don’t even get me started on the guanábana smoothie — I’ve never tasted anything like it before. Creamy, tropical, refreshing — it’s like sunshine in a glass.

I was looking for a breakfast place in the area and I was delighted to find this lovely place. There is a very warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. I was recommended to try one of the pasteles and it was absolutely delicious. Great coffee and fresh orange juice as well !
