I want to start by saying that I have no issues with IKEA itself—everything from ordering to customer service has been great. However, my main concern is with the third-party courier service you’ve chosen to partner with: SEUR. SEUR has been a significant problem for many customers who rely on them for deliveries. They often fail to make any real attempt to deliver or locate the customer's address. They don't contact the recipient, no calls, updates, even an ounce of effort to try to make arrangements to deliver the items. It’s very clear they put little to no effort into completing deliveries.
I've read numerous complaints on Reddit, Twitter, facebook and now here about SEUR, and the situation is only made worse by the fact that they have no customer service. Their website is equally problematic—it doesn’t function properly. For example, I live in Benidorm, but when I try to pick up my item from a SEUR location here, the website redirects me to Alicante pick up point, which makes no sense, especially since I paid for delivery fee!
Additionally, I tried using the redelivery option to change the delivery date, but the option is greyed out and not usable.
This whole experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I strongly urge you to consider changing your courier service. Please choose a delivery partner with a functional website and reliable customer service that customers can actually contact.

Read moreNormally very pleased with Ikea. But this Ikea is not even worthy of a star in terms of service. Stayed at home in our appartment in Alicante last Saturday due to a delivery between 6 pm and 10 pm. A few minutes after 6 pm we received an email informing us that our delivery had been suspended because we would not be home. We sat on our balcony and did not see a car from Ikea. Admittedly our apartment is very difficult to find and delivery people always call us. Immediately contracted with customer service and had contact with employee Henry. This also took a very long time. He indicated that the delivery person had tried to call us several times, which was not the case. We were informed that the delivery costs were charged. When we asked for proof in the form of a "print screen of the call history of the delivery person", this was not answered. Only that we had to pay. Stayed calm for a long time but eventually disappointed and angrily hung up. Tried to call back and hung up several times. When we called with another number we got to speak to Henry again. But again no solution was found. All in all, this all took a very long time and we have no furniture and are being charged for something that we can't do anything about. I think Ikea should have accommodated us. In any case, we canceled our order because our delivery could not be delivered until a week later. But that's not possible because we're flying back home to the Netherlands...
