A bit small compared to other museums I’ve went to, and it wasn’t free. But it did feature beautiful artworks. I recommend buying a ticket the main cathedral and the museum as a bundle. The audio guide was €1pp but it came in different languages for foreign tourists. It’s open during the hottest hours of the day, and it’s a place you can go if you have nothing to do...

Si pasas por la Catedral de Murcia, no puedes dejar de visitar su Museo Catedralicio, el cual te permite adentrarte aun más en el pasado de la misma ya que conserva parte de sus claustros góticos originales (incluyendo algunos de los frescos que cubrían sus paredes) y los restos de la mezquita sobre la que se construyó.

Se pueden apreciar además excelentes muestras de pintura gótica (Bernabé de Módena), renacentista (Hernando de Llanos) y barroca (Lucas Jordán), así como 3 maravillosas tallas del maestro de la escuela murciana Francisco Salzillo, probablemente el escultor religioso español más destacado del siglo XVIII (sólo basta ver su escultura de San Jerónimo, que transmite el sentimiento y el dolor de este padre de la Iglesia, pudiéndose casi palpar la tensión de sus músculos y sentir en el pecho el golpe de la piedra con la que se martirizaba, incluso hasta el hematoma en esa zona está fielmente...
